    Just watched this series again. This is such a great teaching for those brethren who want a clearer understanding of the Remnant / Little Flock's ministry transition during the revealing of the Body of Christ.

    Absolutely inculcating!! Extremely edifying. ! Justin Johnson's ability to assimilate Gods Word, + words , timelines, to the ears of those who want or need help in understanding it, is well advised. J.Johnson can also help uncloak stuborn past faulty church traditions, and denominational detriment !

    fantastic, the most gob-smacking explanation of what actually happened, and how we ended up with 1000+ false denominations - people are trying to come up with their own explanations of what really happened, what God is really doing, instead of just letting the words of God say what they say.....Amazing, thanks so much

    A great conclusion to this series on the remnant.
    So helpful and instructive. This helps to tie up the loose ends so we can understand what was going on throughout Acts and the remnant and those who help Paul.
    The outline and chart is particularly helpful.
    Thankyou Justin and GA...this has been outstanding series on the remnant.
    I used to be with the Exclusive Brethren and they claimed to be the remnant and the hymn book they used was even called "the Little Flock Hymn Book"
    Those who know the history of the Exclusive Brethren will know they were anything but the remnant especially from 1960s to present day!

    I like that he addresses things others completely ignore. Bible talks about remnant, New Covenant and a mystery. Things that are in prophesy (remnant, new covenant) are not part of the mystery. But he raises questions he never answers. The Apostles evangelized to Jews (remnant, new Covenant Israel?) in attempt to establish Kingdom of God then/there. Jews reject Messiah both pre & post Crucifixion so in comes Paul with the mystery...dispensation of Grace in the Body of Christ. The Remnant (New Covenant Israel?) help Paul along the way. But what happens to the remnant/ new Covenant Israel during/after dispensation of Grace? Are Messianic Jews still remnant? New Covenant Israel? Or part of the mystery Body of Christ? From where are the remnant gathered by Jesus upon His return?

    • @TheEmptyeye

      Ive been studying these teaching for a few months and the conclusion that i have come to is that this is not really good teaching. Read Romans for yourself about the grafting. (Galatians, Ephesians, and Colossians as well). Ive been hearing sooo many holes and misleading misdirections in these teachings that its actually hard to listen to at times. The only way i think this works is on people who dont know the Bible for themselves and can be led down this path of reasoning. Or those that so want it to be true that they overlook obvious contradictions in the teachings.
      But my answer to your question would be yes, believing gentiles are grafted into the promises made to believing israel,..hence one body, no Jew or Greek...
      Eph 3:6 - That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
      Eph 2:11-14
      11 - Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
      12 - That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
      13 - But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
      14 - For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
      Gal 3:28 - There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
      Col 3:11 - Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
      (Please go read all of these in context)
      -Let’s think a moment. He is teaching that Israel is divided into two groups, (1) Unbelieving and (2)Believing/Remnant. He then says that the Remnant and the (3)Body of Christ are two separate things. Question: So how is it that there are Jews in the Body for us Gentiles to be made one with in Christ if the Believing Jews are the Remnant and not Body, and Unbelieving are obviously excluded??
      -Sorry such a long reply.
      -I’m sure most here won’t agree. 🤷‍♂️

    • @ginaidoma4368
      @ginaidoma4368 2 роки тому

      @@TheEmptyeye I definitely don't agree. If believing Gentiles were grafted into Israel...we would still have differentiation between Jew and Gentile.
      Jews would be in a preeminent position and the Gentiles would be bound to do the Jewish Law....for salvation is of the Jews.
      This is not the case today. There is no Jew nor Gentile in the Body of Christ.
      We are all equal and Israel is in a fallen position....not an preeminent one.
      All are one in the Body of Christ. No one is grafted into the Body.
      No one can be grafted to the Body...for when we become saved we are made into a new creation. The new creation is a member of the Body of Christ....not a branch that is being grafted to a tree.

    Great lesson. I think Barnabas became a member of the body of Christ to minister with Paul. Barnabas was called an "apostle". A sent one. He was sent to the body of Christ not the remnant. He would be a hypocrite if he preached the gospel of Grace knowing he was saved under the kingdom gospel. Two different gospel messages. Just my thoughts. I welcome your thoughts. Peace and Grace.

    The Holy Ghost is everywhere in everybody. But until the person accepts Christ with 2 Corinthians 2:15, it remains dormant. Kina like a pilot light that is a very, very small ball of fire. When the gas (word of God)is applied that ball grows and the more one reads and studies and rightly divides the word, the hotter and greater that flame grows. The size and temperature of that flame is directly related to the time and intensity one spends in the Word of truth. The KJV. It doesnt work with any other version, because its not the Holy word.

    Why does Paul NEVER say he was a contemporary with Jesus. He was. (born in 5 CE, died somewhere in the 60s CE). Why does he never say that he and Jesus would have both been in Jerusalem 3 times EVERY YEAR for the required feasts? Was PAUL never curious enough about this guy out there teaching people that he went out with the other Pharisees to see what he was saying? Why does Paul, with his ties to someone important as Gamaliel, NEVER admit to being in the inner circle who were discussing this Jesus character? HOW did Paul MISS the entire crucifixion that the inner circle supposedly plotted? How did he miss the ghosts who rose and walked the streets in Jerusalem? Wouldn't eye-witness accounts have been important in establishing his credibility? Here's why: It's all made up.

      Saul...who later became Paul...may have been too young to have a voice at the time of Jesus's ministry. Also, as a student of Gamaliel, he would have been involved in studying Jewish Law during the time period you speak of.
      You can not dismiss Paul as an Apostle of the Body of Christ because you can't wrap your head around the fact that Paul was given a new Gospel to preach the entire world.
      Those who reject Paul's teachings...reject what Jesus told Paul. Paul did not come up with this stuff himself. It was revealed to Him by the risen Christ.
      Paul states follow me as I have followed Christ.
