No there not together, they dated in high school though but they didn’t work out and stayed bestfriends, a lot of people have mistaken them as being together because they are so close as bestfriends and quite a lot of fans ship them and wish they were together but no there not, Mitch and Scott have said they are like sisters, Scott has a boyfriend his name is Mark. You should react to their sit down vlog type videos too those videos show who they are as people and how close they are, they also have made an album of originals that you should react too they made videos for almost all of the songs on the album. Adam is an American Olympian ice skater. Hahah they call us who like superfruit the kids it’s something Mitch as always called the fans and that’s what the fans chose as a fan name
In 2013, SuperFruit started as a funny, comedic channel Scott and Mitch started separately from Pentatonix. SuperFruit does a lot of original music. And they’re usually not acapella. The video that introduced me to SuperFruit made me CRY. It was ‘Rise’ (Katy Perry cover). They did it with other openly LGBTQ+ musicians-Brian Justin Crum (He competed on ‘America’s Got Talent’). Mario Jose (he’s done a lot with SuperFruit & PTX-and is a good friend of theirs). And Mary Lambert (she wrote ‘Same Love’ and recorded it with American rapper Macklemore). SuperFruit recorded this in response to the mass shooting at the LGBTQ+ nightclub. Pulse (Orlando, FL) in 2016!!

They are very close best friends, who used to date, but don't now. They have been best friends since they were 10. Their bond is so tight it makes a lot people think they are together, and they kinda play it up, too. They even gave themselves a ship name...Scomiche.
The fans gave them the name, not them. There is a superfruit video where they say just that, and how cute they thought it was, so they kept it.
@@calhoun1968 What? They did come up with it themselves. It's in their first or second video. They used to do this thing where they'd pronounce words in a funny, French-sounding way. That's why the ship name has umlauts and accents on the vowels.

One reason for starting with their older videos is to see the evolution of their music. Speaking of which.... try their live evolution / medleys of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Rhianna etc. (Also the Pentatonix "Evolution" videos).
Welcome to the Superfruit family! I'm proud to be a Pentaholic and a Kid(even tho I'm old enough to be their mom ☺)if you react to their videos from their Future Friends album I suggest going in order so you can see the progression of Mitch's moustache lol.
Someone already mentioned it, but the Empire Medley is really good (in case you don't know, Empire is a tv show in the U.S.).
They were together at one point in their lives but decided the friendship was more important than a failed relationship. They have been friends since 8-10 years of age. Friendship goals at its best.
Scott and Mitch have been best friends since the age of 10. They dated in High School for a short time, (Mitch dumped Scott) then moved in together in LA when Pentatonix was formed. They lived together for 5 years and were VERY close. Watch any behind the scene videos from that time period and you will see that they were inseparable. They played up the relationship as Scomiche but had separate boyfriends. Mitch moved out at the beginning of 2018. There was some kind of issue between them for awhile. That look they give each other when they sing " I'll always be there" is SIGNIFICANT. Good job sensing it. Great reaction all around. You can't go wrong with any Superfruit reactions. They have over 200 VLOGS. Most of them are comedic. But they morphed into music and have many great medleys and a whole Album of videos.

Adam is an incredible ice skater who competed for America in the last Olympics. He's got incredible artistry.

Two categories for Superfruit. They did a visual album for their CD - so there's a video for almost every song. HIGHLY recommend you watch them in order. But then there are their "covers" and "medley" videos - also amazing! They have playlists on their channel for both. Their comedy vids are also a riot. Truly, if you need a laugh - RUN to watch them...lol.
Adam Rippon is an openly gay Olympic skater. He represented the US at the last Winter Olympics. He’s PHENOMENAL.
They are not together, they once were, but are besties and have a very close bond. They like to play it up a bit 😊 They have some great originals their album is called Future Friends, great music. Lots of covers on their Superfruit channel too, Rise is my favourite!
Superfruit has wonderful medley videos (Beyoncé, Anti, Lady Gaga and Empire). I really love their Bad For Us and Guy.exe. Love to see you do more of them.

Love your Pentatonix/Superfruit reactions, you always make me smile. 😊 Scott recently co-founded an all female acapella group called Citizen Queen. They're wonderful. You should check them out some time.
This is not typical Superfruit Fare. I think it is too mellow to accurately give a new listener an accurate representation of what Scott and Mitch are about. I recommend their original music. their little musicals like "Frozen Medley ft. Kirstin Maldonado" or "Defying Gravity" ard hysterical, and talented. With bloopers after... always wait for bloopers. They're best friends, not a couple.
I recommend "Hip Hop Goes Broadway" and "Hip Hop goes Broadway 2", or the "Beyoncé Medley" and "Empire Medley"
they're serious AND playful, but they're more comedy until the last few years when they wrote their first Album, with Music Videos for each song.
They are as close as siblings. Their relationship seems to be changing in the last year, putting more boundaries in place, and I think they are happier. But before that, they had a vlog-style approach to their channel. Lots of fun stuff: Hip Hip Goes Boadway, Defying Gravity, Frozen, evolution of Beyonce, etc. Lots of stuff if you 're interested to hear more.
Anything by Superfruit is incredible. As others have said, you have their visual album then there are their medleys, spoofs and for their acting skills there is Stranger Fruit (Stranger Things in 3 Minutes). All this on top of the weekly vlog they did. You have a lot ahead of you my friend! For my faves: Beyonce, Anti Medley, Rise, Defying Gravity, All of Future Friends in order, Hip Hop Goes Broadway 1 & 2 and well, everything else. But the most important advice - keep watching after the 'Subscribe'' for bloopers!!
It's a cover of a song by When in Rome done in the 80's. I LOVED that song when I was a kid. So glad someone remade it!! ♥♥♥
Grocer! 😂🤣. That’s a good one. Yes, that look that they gave each other. As mentioned, they dated shortly in the past, but in their vlogs and older interviews you can see how in sync they are with each other. Their fans, would love nothing more then for them to actually become a “couple”.
Adam is an amazingly talented exquisite world class olympic ice skater!
Their Medley and Evolution vids are so impressive because they combine so many snipets of songs in one take and they really showcase Scott & Mitch’s talents and the artist they are covering too. I like their Evolution of Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, & Miley Cyrus the best. Also Empire Medley.
My favourite video by them is Hip Hop Goes Broadway (both parts). I like that it combines music and comedy so well and for me it really shows off who they are. If you react to their videos in general, make sure to watch till the end, they often have bloopers there :).
And seriously, these guys have some seriously addictive original songs. My personal favourites are Imaginary Parties, Deny U, Guy.exe and Hurry Up. And their music videos are just gold.
The Promise is a song from the 80' I believe and they seem to have some influence from that era in their original music too, so I guess that was one reason they decided to cover this song.
And, as someone already mentioned, they are not together. They are just really close friends and I live for it (though I low-key ship them a little bit :D). They often joke about it in their videos. And the look they exchanged in this song was precious :). I would say that it was kind of a reassurance for their fans, because they didn't do anything for a while except a livestream that was honestly a little bit awkward, because they were apparently dealing with their personal lives and their own projects and didn't have much time for each other and it showed. So I think that was another reason they chose this song. As a reminder that Superfruit is still there.

Scott and Mitch have been singing together for many years so they just blend so well and it's effortless for them it seems. To get a really good start to superfruit, you need to react to their older things. Some of my favorites are Empire Medley, Beyonce Medley, Defying Gravity, Anti Medley -- then there is the stuff from their album. They aren't a couple, but they've been best friends forever. They are really close. Guy.exe is a fun one to review too :) There is just SO MUCH. -- one that doesn't get mentioned much from PTX is Valentine, but it's very cool. Love following you on this music journey!!

Their less serious videos would be a good place to go, like the LaLa Land medley or the Frozen medley. Those involve quite a lot of theatre and acting, but if you just want to hear amazing vocals then I'd go to their Beyoncé or Anti medley videos.
Oh Scomiche....how us Pentaholics would love for them to be together. Even tho Mitch is recently single and Scott is in a relationship, I'm sure they made a pact a while ago that if they're both single by a certain age then they'll just get married! Lol...they do like to play with our emotions...1 superfruit video is actually called, Are We Dating? and in the video for Hurry Up they tease us at the end and if you wanna see A LOT of serious stares between them, watch Deny You by them...freaking love that song and vid!

You might watch some of the fun songs they first did on their channel like Frozen Medley and Defying Gravity - then hit the Evolution Medleys they did like the ones that have been mentioned by other commenters. Then you should be ready to see the videos from the Future Friends album they put out last year. All of the videos from their original music (Future Freinds vol 1&2) are great. They explored their fun, colorful, quirky side in Imaginary Parties, Vacation and Fantasy. Really good story-telling in Deny U, Goodbye from Lonely and Hurry Up.

“Feeling Myself”- cover of Beyoncé...it’s KILLER. Mitch raps like a beast. They also have a whole album together as well. For a while, they just did vlogs, but the musical videos are the BEST. “Black and White”- their collab with Todrick Hall is awesome too. Kirstie is in it as well.
Adam is the 2018 figure skating Olympic Bronze medalist. His interpretation of The Promise is beautiful just like Superfruits singing of it. Scott and Mitch aren't together, but I think a lot of Pentaholics wish they were. LoL They have been best friends since they were kids.

OH YES... EVERYONE knows what you are talking about! There is at least one song for each of us that Superfruit/Pentatonix does that just mind warps you into their beautiful music... makes one look like a smiling, goofy zombie (another thing to love about them - their stuff ALWAYS makes you smile!).
Superfruit's original songs are amazing. Retro, pop fun. All of the music videos from Future Friends are great. From Imaginary Parties, to Guy.EXE they are unique. Defying Gravity shows a bit of their comedic style along with superb vocals.

BUT.....
I will say that their “Rise”, “Empire”, and “Evolution”, videos REALLY showcase their beautiful harmonies and will make you melt like butter, but their both “Future Friends” EP’s are absolutely AMAZING as well so, you really CAN’T go wrong with anything you choose!! 🥰

Adam is an Olympic medalist, a fine athlete / artist. Scott and Mitch have known each other since they were about 8-9 years old and have been singing together since they were young. They had a relationship a few years back and then moved on, still strong friends, but they like to tweak their fans now and again...there are some fans that are endlessly fascinated by them and their relationship status (ScoMich). I love this song. Been on my daily playlists for weeks. There is so much good stuff, but I appreciate their comedy too. If you want to laugh listen to Hip Hop goes Broadway or Pop goes Broadway.

A couple of my favorites: Rihana’s “Anti” Medly and Guy.Exe
Great reaction! These guys started their own weekly video channel about 6 months after PTX won the Sing-Off. They started with funny chats and skits and goofing around with guests, and also put out some great music videos. A few early favorites (IMO) are Empire Medley, Bad for Us, and their Beyonce Medley (not to be confused with PTX's Evolution of Beyonce). Their early music videos were similar to PTX, but later ones included more electronic dance music. They used to tease the fans about their relationship, but have both had other boyfriends, so it's hard to say what will be. They brought it up in one of their SF videos, called "Are We Dating". They stopped the weekly vlogs a couple years ago, and I miss them.
When this came out, i sent my husband this video as a vow as he was sick with leukemia. This song has gotten me through some seriously bad times, Its a big favourite. Your reaction to it, was perfect:)
Mitch and Scott are best friends. They both have a significant other.
No-they aren’t together, however Mitch did date both Scott and Kirsten back in high school. Now they are just the best of friends and lives together for quite a while until recently. If you watch some of their old superfruit videos (not necessarily songs) they do a lot of talking about themselves and their life. Lots of laughs and fun. Check out the one where they react to themselves on the sing off-it’s hilarious!

Make sure you watch their medleys until the end, after the “subscribe” for the bloopers. My favorites are Frozen and Wicked, along with the much more serious Rise.

Scott Hoying does PTX, SuperFruit and because he apparently thought that wasn’t enough, he just helped to start an acapella GIRL’S group called “Citizen Queen”. I loved their “Evolution Of Girl Groups” medley. Major talent there. And Scott is only 27!!

Yes they both are into guys, and no they are not together. I believe they were for a little bit but it was years ago. They grew up together and are always teasing their shippers with little snippets like this. Look up Scomiche moments (Scomiche is their ship name) and react to it. It is very entertaining.

you need to go back thru the older superfruit videos. this is the latest and kind of has the vibe of well always be there for each other even though we are making our own separate lives now. they recently released an album with a song Future Friends that has the same feel. these two are a beautiful pair on and off stage and their friendship is enviable.
