I enjoyed your book review of The turn of the screw very much. You made it sound very interesting. I can't remember if I read it, but I did see adaptations of it on screen. Its a favourite of mine. I was lucky to get two books accepted by a publisher over in London. One has a vampire init, but with a different slant. The other deals with a man who is given a chance of live again, but with strings attached. They are not in the same league, but maybe some day someone will review them. I have read other books by Henry James. Thanks for reviewing the book.
You’ve discussed great points! I’d really wished you’d made the video with spoilers to pick up more of your views! Specially the ending! Thanks for this great review!
They aren’t spoilers if you’ve actually read the book… why call this a book “discussion” if we can’t actually discuss all of the book? I would love to hear a longer more in-depth video on this novella. It’s definitely very vague and ambiguous.
Nobody seems to have any suspicions about the uncle- who seems to have given free reign of the house to Mr. Quint. He deliberately chooses an ingenue as governess, and seems to approve of the fact that as a clergyman's daughter, she would be a a well indoctrinated Christian. The care of her brothers and sisters ensures that she has the experience to be a naive but nurturing presence.

You wish that she had revealed a number of spoilers?
Thank you! I'm thinking of doing that in my future videos because I'd like to be able to go a bit deeper with my analysis.
Why would you want spoilers???
@@DavideMazzetti because in that we can have thorough discussion

Cheers. All in her head
What a cute creature.
Where are you from?
I'm Polish :)
The narrator comes across as silly and melodramatic. I lost patience and DNF it.
