"Little Do We Know" is the debut short film of feb8productions, a team of three young filmmakers who decided they wanted to tell stories through film together in early 2018. Shortly after the concept for "Little Do We Know" was born and with hardly any experience in filmmaking to draw from, they came together with people who shared their vision for this story a few months later and shot the short film within two days in June/July 2018.

Love is love. You can't let society rule your heart or your actions of love. The only way to take ignorant away is by showing there is nothing wrong with loving the same gender. Whilst i enjoyed this short film i do think its important to point out that sometimes it is as you see it and its always important to know your surroundings and be safe. If you dont feel ok to do something, dont do it but on the same token you are born to be you and that is wonderful in all forms. 🥰

I was truly glad for the subtitles even though I understand English perfectly. And don't get me wrong here.
The music was great, it was just a tad too loud for me, to actually hear what she was saying. 😌😅

Never let anything get in the way of your truth
Is it really so hard, in these days, to come out as two girls who love each other? OK, this film and a bunch of others from the US, UK, Germany, Spain, and even Scandinavia seem to emphasize that difficulty; yes, it is hard, to judge from the films, and I guess I am living in a more LGBT+ friendly bubble in Northern Eu. But the acceptance I see around me should be normal.

I feel that the film is trying to tell us that experienced homophobia and discrimination often is not actual, but instead imagined, by presenting a few isolated cases of farfetched misunderstandings.
I call bullshit!
There's so much real discrimination to deal with that we probably don't have to worry about being "over sensitive" for at least a few generations ahead...
The message in this short film doesn't feel true or important to tell, as long as discrimination is frequent and real, as it currently is.
I agree, the acting, music, cinography, camera-work and editing are really well done, but the message didn't jive for me either.

LGBT people get so much hate for this film to make it seem like we are being over sensitive.. I mean people die and go to jail... The message here was not put well indeed.

They wasted a lot of the movie with the dark interludes and then the last 5 minutes were well I would like to have seen her go back to the girl played by Nicole. I wish they would have been together at the end. I love Happy Endings. Elvis sang a song at the end of "It Happened at The Worlds Fair" that was a song "Happy Endings" Hey Cheers!

Great short movie with a truly succinct message, love and companionship is what you want it to be. Same sex unions and no less important than hetro love. A deep feeling of trust and mutual love is all that matters. The physical and emotional side is just as important as the companionship as you tarry through life. Couples of the same gender who love each other, is all that counts. Gender should not be an issue,bigoted attitudes of days past are water under bridge, time to move on.

Whilst the concessions this story makes shows compassion, a beautiful love and opportunity was still lost.

Love is a conscious decision? I don’t think so and as for not being able to go forward, why not? Life always goes forward and your happiness should not be dependent on others but should come from within yourself or else not being able to please others no matter what you do will leave you empty and alone. So yes live with the decision to stay in a relationship cause it makes you happy and mot by the decision of others.
