    Your directions were clear and easily implemented as well as being structurally correct. I love the way you have used and re-used simple materials to create something both beautiful and functional. Thank you so much for sharing this.

    This idea is wonderful, thank you. I need to us cinder blocks in my yard but now I have a beautiful way to display them and a base for my water collecting barrels. Your family’s history is a beautiful idea to bring more beauty to your garden. Thank you again.

    I am not very artistic so I have come upon the idea of using beginner quilt pattern as a guide. What do you think?

    • @doinamalurica4588
      @doinamalurica4588  4 роки тому +3

      Hello, thank you for your question! Sure, you can use that, but try to draw yourself like a flower, or a butterfly, or a house, or a geometric pattern and I am sure that you will get the confidence to extend the patterns.

    Shouldn't you use a notched trowel? I think you might have some future problems when it rains on it.

      Buna ziua, Imi cer scuze pt intarziere in raspuns! Cred ca puteti folosi lipici de lemn sau chit pt a atasa bucatile de ceramica pe plasa. Va pot raspunde si la alte intrebari daca mai aveti! Multumesc si succes!

    Hi! Thanks for the video! Im thinking about covering my cinder blocks in mosaic. Are you using a thin metal sheet as well as a lining to glue the pieces onto? Which material do you prefer using? Thanks again!

    • @lindastrickland8276
      @lindastrickland8276 4 роки тому +1

      I'm glad to read someone else is going to try this also. I asked the same question above and she said she used the shelf liner or rug preventing slip material. However, as she is applying it on the video, that looked mesh so I'm wondering if I have missed a step.

    • @doinamalurica4588

      Hello, thank you for your question! It's a plastic mash that I have bought from the Dollar Store. The black and white mash that appears stiff in the video is from the Dollar Store specific for mosaic, because my project was extremely long, they did not have enough material for me to cover the project, so I came up with the idea to use rug preventing slip material like mash to complete the project, I hope this helps!

  • @lindastrickland8276
    @lindastrickland8276 4 роки тому +2

    Are you using the mash like from shelf liner type? Walmart??

    • @doinamalurica4588
      @doinamalurica4588  4 роки тому +2

      Thank you very much for the kind words! In this case, I have used mash that I used for under the rugs so that they are not slippery when you step/walk on them (I have bought if from the Dollar Store). Yes, absolutely, the Walmart type one can be used as well, I like to be cost efficient and try to use what I might have in the house.

      You can buy it from home improvement stores for $8 a roll, Walmart for $6 or Dollar Tree for $ a roll, though you need two rolls to equal the same quantity.
