What is HamPC Free Bootable Software Image for ham radio

Dave Slotter, W3DJS talks about HamPC, a free bootable software image distribution (derived from the award-winning HamPi) of approximately 100 ham radio applications for x86 PC users. W3DJS released version 1.0 of HamPi a week before Field Day 2020. Putting hundreds, if not thousands of hours into it, W3DJS released HamPC 3.0.1 this last August 2022.
HamPi and HamPC have become quite well-known within the Ham Radio community and HamPi recently won three SourceForge awards: The Community Leader Award, The Community Choice award and SourceForge Favorite award. These honors are awarded only to select projects that have reached significant milestones in terms of downloads and user engagement from the SourceForge community.

Tried to download from source forge. It had no .img file. Tried another one that said .img and it had no bootable image. I am at a loss now and would really like to use this loaded Pi. Why does it have to be so difficult to just grab the file, mount it to an sd and go. THis one is a real bugger. Any help or ideas on this.

Developer's choice. ISO files are probably easier to distribute and install, but this one goes out as an img file...

Ham pc is perhaps an april fools joke. I tried to install it and every thing i tried is telling me that the iso is to big for either usb stick or the dvd.
