Being a newbie and not knowing much back then, your videos were extremely educational and helpful in every way as I was building my 16' x 10' layout. Im currently building a ceiling layout in my bedroom and I do plan on putting some scenery and hide the wires around the track with shaper sheet. Your methods look perfect as I want to make it simple but have a decent amount of scenery. Thanks for sharing your methods!

Sean. Love your videos and layout. I have a question on your mountain. Mine is similar to yours. How were you able to get flock on the steep flat parts of mountain. Im having a hard time because my mountain is already in place. So I feel like im wasting a lot
Hey Sean, I am new to the hobby and gathering tips and ideas. This year (2022) I will working on my first layout. I am using fastrack , I watched episode one from your channel. Thank you for sharing, it looks great. One thing I noticed on the video is you have your fastrack screwed down. My question is what is the screwed down into? The reason I asked is I’ve seen other people using adhesive to secure the track down on to foam board that is on top of 3/4 inch plywood. I am interested in how you have your track set on. Thank you for time and information. Jeff

It works really well and is easy to use. I just did not want to go old school route with all that time and mess. It all depends on the look you are going for.

I need to put up a mountain as a boundary along almost 40 feet. I can't use a backdrop because I need to conceal the trains. This might be the fast approach I'm looking for!

Glad it helped. I love shaper sheet and plan to use it on my layout for some renovations I plan to do this year. It quick, easy and turns out great.

It's just screwed into the plywood, with some sound insulator underlayment between.
