Important - an Edison Screw MUST have the live terminal as the center, and the screw thread MUST be the neutral. Make sure you confirm with the multimeter.
Its not as important for a bayonet cap as shown in the video, there is no polarity requirements on the pins.
I need instructions for a E27 edison screw batten holder. Is it the same?

So which cable goes where? Do I put the live into the L loop hole and the neutral n earth into the other 2 holes? Need far more help
@1:42 , you can see the terminal test points, there's in fact 4 there if you go poking around. Handy when fault finding.
