That was Kanye West visibly moved to tears yesterday during an interview with BBC Radio 1 host Zane Lowe. The emotional moment came about half-way through the 45-minute-long interview when Kanye was remember his late fashion professor Louise Wilson. As he spoke about how much she meant to him, he began to cry, covering his eyes and Zane suggested they take a moment to leave the interview. When they returned to finish things out, Kanye said this:
When they picked back up with the chat, they changed the subject, but overall throughout the interview we saw a different side of the entertainer/designer/businessman. As a side note, I highly recommend that everyone out there watch this interview, even if you’re not a fan, because it’s really well-done and the conversation is very compelling. Equally as interesting was the fact that Kanye also hit twitter yesterday with the following tweets. First it was “I would like to publicly apologize to Beck, I’m sorry Beck.” He followed up that tweet with two more that were pointed at Bruno Mars, in which he stated: I also want to publicly apologize to Bruno Mars, I used to hate on him but I really respect what he does as an artist. I also would love for Bruno to sing this song 88 Keys/Puff and I produced…I even asked Tyler to shoot the vid.

its good hes sorry, but honestly i dont entirely believe him. He apologised to Taylor than he did the same thing with Beck and talking that much of a crap towards Amber, im not a fan of her at all but thas was so disrespectful of him saying that to a woman especially now having a wife and more importantly a dauther. Hes human he made some mistakes everybody does but repeating them over and over again wont help him no matter how many times he apologises.

You must agree that he is trying to change though surely? The old Kanye would have never apologised but at the same time he only repeats his actions because I think he feels nobody's listening. It's frustrating as an artist and all he's trying to do is fight the system because it's not fair. Honestly I used to hate the guy but I even made a video about how I'm starting to understand him a bit more. You're right about the Amber Rose thing, it's completely disrespectful and I don't care what he says because he did love her once. However he did say it and immediately apologised and didn't want it to come out like that but, we all know he tends to not think before he speaks ;)

I love Kanye. I know a lot of people hate him but he has almost always appealed to me and I like his music alot. And LOVE his outfits. I know he's done some stuff that even I don't agree on but who hasn't.

It's good to apologize for something you've done wrong, but it's almost meaningless if you do it once, apologize, then do it again. It may take some time to forgive. Some may not even bother trying to forgive him, but hopefully he'll see that his ego can hurt and anger people, and when he does he might not have as many people hating him as he does now.

Kanye isn't bad. He's just very human. I think of him as a man that is still dealing with tremendous ego problems and inner inferiority complex that probably emerged in childhood. His constant need to be the one on top, being the one who is right and his OCD of showing it to the world explains these bahavioural patterns. He is caught in a loop where he does this over and over and each time he regrets it. Like a man with bi-polar who can't help switching between feelings of depression and grandiose he can't help it, it's hardwired in him to act this way. Kanye has clearly showed that he is an intellectual man in his own right being a musician, producer, designer and owning a label. He needs to realise this and stop having the need to show the world he is the best, cause in the end this is an inner battle, an inner struggle he needs to deal with otherwise he'll die unhappy with feelings of false fulfillment. These are my thoughts and theories about this great yet sad man, hope you enjoyed. Peace out.
