Love You! I've been cross stitching for 35+ years and I've aida! Just don't enjoy other fabric. Sometimes feel we aida stirchers aren't taken as seriously as we don't "progress". Love your style. Thanks for giving us a new flosstube to watch!😊
Amazing video! Lots of pretty things presented by a very pretty lady! The pride you take in your art certainly shows through the camera. Love it and YOU!
Wonderful video. I love stitching on 14-count Aida also! I have never tried 28ct or 32 ct. It just seems too daunting to me! I am glad to see that samplers that call for 32-count can be stitched on 14-count and look great! I love dogs! Can't wait to see Aspen! Alos, love the Liberty's Welcome Love the 1776 and the carriage on there!
Just discovered your channel, and it’s so fabulous seeing your wonderful projects done on 14ct. Aida! I love the variety of the things that you stitch, and your stitching is gorgeous. It’s also great to meet a fellow yellow fan; my favorite color too! Can’t wait to watch the rest of your videos!🙂
I watched your first video and was hooked. I am an Aida stitcher also but have moved up to 18 and 20 count. I really like a lot of your pieces that you are working on, especially the full coverage ones. Take care!
Oh I just live your projects!! They are coming along so wonderfully!! Now...when you mentioned that you did a lot of America pieces...I was on the edge of my seat to see if you were doing One Nation!! Iwas so excited when I saw it! I am doing that one too & have seen a couple more people as well!! I started mine (I should say...restarted) in the botttom right. I went round & round with my fabric color choice...but eventually went with an 18 ct Ale. Peaceful Tranquility is going to be beautiful!! Abraham Hunter is a genius in his artwork. I am doing a piece by him that was charted by The Cross Stitch Studio called Humility. See you soon for all your other goodies! ❤🪡❤️
I’m a very patriotic stitcher it’s probably my biggest pile of stash! I love the peaceful Tranquility piece as well. I will have to look up the Humility piece. Thanks for watching.
I love all of your projects I am a 14 count girl also who is also a breast cancer survivor. Thank you for showing how wonderful things can look on 14 count. Happy Easter
Love your closing statement!! I am also a breast cancer survivor, early detection is the key! My cancer was also found routine mammogram. Also lots of wips kept on stitching.
L❤VE all your projects! I am subscriber #208!!! I’m team Aida too!!! Have several WIPs on 14 count. Starting one on 18 count and 2 on 16 count. So far 16 is my sweet spot. Loved your video & the variety of your WIPs.
Beautiful projects. I love 14 count as well. It’s great to see the different color options you show. The plum street sampler project was so gorgeous. I’m trying to stick to smaller projects but I do have a couple large (this will take 5 years) going. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video! So many awesome projects. Beautiful. I really enjoyed your presentation. Your organization is impressive. I am in the process of kitting up a very large full coverage and will be parking for the first time. Thanks for the tip. I will head over to watch the four part tutorial that you recommended. Quick question, what is it that you have your parked floss wrapped around? Thank you for demonstrating that these lovely patterns can be stitched on Aida.
Good luck on parking it’s easy once you understand the concept of it. The things I wrap my floss around are called bobeez made by The Bead Smith, I get them on Amazon. The top flips up you wrap the floss around and pop it back down. I recently purchased these as I found them on another flosstube. I am enjoying them they do keep the parked floss out of the way. Thanks for watching!
Love all your WIPs... especially Liberty's Welcome and all your owls! I just purchased the Owl pattern from A Year in the Woods at Sheri's new shop a few weeks ago.
Liberty’s welcome is beautiful, also done in silk so makes it extra beautiful. I will be going to Sheri’s new shop on June so excited! Thanks for watching.
Hi! Love your stitching! I love 14ct aida too! I did recently start stitching on 18ct with 1 strand and I like how neat my stitching looks. I can't wait to see your HL haul!! I missed the sale at mine...😢 But I have plenty to stitch! 😊
Oh hiiiiii!!! So happy to find another Aida stitcher! However, I’m team 18 ct. 🤷♀️🤣 Beautiful projects!! You are the furthest along on the 100 owls I’ve seen so far! It’s gorgeous!!! Anyway, had a blast hanging out with you today!! Looking forward to the next one! 🖤🖤
I’m really enjoying seeing all your projects. Do you like gridding your fabric more or less than the ore-gridded fabric? When I purchased the pre-gridded the lines seemed to be a bit wide or something that made it confusing to denote a 10x10 square..is that normal? I can tell you are already enabling me with so many of your projects lol. Off to watch your next episode. Suzette
I bought the pre-gridded at first, then I saw Stitchin Jules did hers with a water soluble pen, so I started doing that. I bought it on Amazon. On the gray 10x10 I believe you pick either the first row or row 10 but one is on the gray line. Thanks for watching.
You have great taste in your fabric and project choices. I have a ton of 14 count aida, but have not been satisfied with the coverage I get. How many strands of floss do you use? Thanks for a great video! 😊
I use 2 strands on everything. I think we sometimes forget we are looking at it very close , once it’s on a wall people will be seeing it from a distance and the coverage will look great! Thanks for watching.
Lovely projects ❤❤❤❤ and I would love to know where you got I'm a survivor cancer pattern, I have a friend thats is a survivor and I want to Stitch it❤❤❤❤
Wow! I love all your stitching, you have some beautiful projects. I also love 14ct, i've tried linen but hated it! Last year i had breast cancer also! Mammogram saved my life also as it was found early Stitching gave me something to focus on through my treatment and I am so grateful for that. I love the blanket on your chair! What size q snap is the one you had the Kringles on? I look forward to your future videos! x✌💜
The blanket on my chair was a gift from my daughter I will ask her where she got it. The Kringles is on an 11x17 q-snap. I hope you are doing well in your Breast Cancer Fight. Thanks for watching!
Great wip parade .How do you finish your very large pieces that are on 14 count? I ask, because I stitch a lot of 14 count too and am always looking for new ideas for finishing. Thanks for sharing❤
I'm a 14 ct stitcher too - my eyes are too old for anything smaller, so I was happy to find your flosstube. How many threads do you use when stitching on 14 ct? I like the Little House Needleworks as well. I'm looking forward to your videos on stitching stores too. Thanks!
Top left. I start all of mine top left. With the exception of Army Emblem because it’s round I started it top middle. Thanks for watching and commenting!
The bags I get on Amazon. I will link them when they have them again, they are currently out. I check every week before I post a video. Thanks for watching!
