How can people actually dislike this man he wants to give everything to the sport like when he said he wants to win the World Cup shows how ambitious he is as a lot of players don't actually care about that tournament because it's unranked and I really hope him and Luke bring it home and prove everyone wrong🏴🙌🏻

Great interview, the bully boy is a class act and a fantastic darts player, him and Luke Humphries representing England in the World Cup is a force to be reckoned with. Those calling for Littler to have been in instead are ridiculous. Yes he’s phenomenal for his age and his time will come, but this is one year, give the kid a break let him just play his darts. It’s fantastic that it’s bought darts out even more to the masses, but there are numerous world champions playing, and the current World Champion, who on their day can beat anyone. They have also been in the game for years and are at the top for a reason, let’s talk about littler in 5 years time if he continues as he is. We as a country and the media have a bad habit of hyping up our young stars in sport, and yet when they have a bad run (which they inevitably will) we destroy them. Paul Gascoigne, Beckham, Rooney, Micheal Owen, Andy Murray to name a few, when they had a bad time, we and the media said they were finished. Beckham survived because of Man Utd rallying around him, Andy Murray will always be remembered for winning Wimbledon, the first time a British male player had won it. But look at Gascoigne the media destroyed him. We put far too much pressure on our young stars, Littler has a great network around him and the players look after him as well, but he only needs to fail in the first rounds in a couple of majors and we will say he was a flash in the pan. At 17 that’s mentally too hard to take. Let’s just enjoy his and all the players darts. My money is on Bully Boy or Humphries this tournament. If littler wins fantastic but that’s just one more bit of pressure put on him for us to slap down when things don’t go so well👍🇬🇧

To say "they're all here for Luke" is doing himself and the others a disservice. It got a good turn out last year and good coverage, thanks in large part to his World Champs win and nine darter.
Also, darts and US darts has been gettin big way before Luke.
I don't believe he's doing himself or others a disservice, it's the truth. Bully and others have even stated in previous interviews that it keeps the press off their backs allowing themselves more time to focus on the job in hand.
If it was bigger last year because of his Worlds and nine darter, then that same logic applies to what Littler has achieved so far this year. Winning on debut 4 times with nines in all of them, 2 of those being in the final. It was growing then and will continue to grow now, but you can't deny Littler has accelerated that growth especially with the way plays the board. So far the the kid is living up to the hype and long may it continue....

What he said goes too far, it almost suggests the whole place would be empty if Littler wasn't there.
@thadonis3516 Maybe I shouldn't have written " it's the truth" but I do think you're taking it a little out of context. It's just an exaggeration, and he obviously knows they're not all there for Littler. They're there because the standard of darts in Europe is next level, and like fans of any sport, they want to see the best players the game has to offer. They also want to see how their own players stack up against that. I reckon most players from the US would give their non playing arm to be able to compete at this level week in week out....
