    What's happened with your hair? Electric shock? Quarantine effect?

      Hahaha, it's my new 'pandemic style'. My hair cut would normally have been right at the beginning of the lockdown in Canada. You should see it when I don't wet it down!

      @@wplearninglab Love it!! You should let it grow out and get an afro perm. Chicks dig it....some chicks....some roosters even.

      Lol, thanks Steve, but I'm not into farm animals, not even sheep. Either way, I'm definitely approaching afro + man bun territory. I had an afro in my 4th year of University. It was the year I stopped caring about my hair. And as a broke student, saving a few bucks on hair cuts is actually significant.

    Thank you. This looks safe enough. It's important to have a tool that will be supported in the future. I appreciate you taking the time to show what happens when you delete a folder. This tells me if I had to back out, it's no big deal.

    My media library disappeared after I deleted the plugin - can you help with this problem? Images are still there, but is there something in the database that needs deleted to get back to the default media library? Thanks for any help.

    Hi Bjorn, I wondered what you thought of Happy Files and MediaMatic in comparison? Have you looked at ImageKit for serving images?
    Working on a pro bono charity site and trying to find a nice free Charity layout if you have any ideas; fyi it's a homeless charity.

    thanks a lot, but it seems it doesn't work with elementor... when adding an image with elementor the filebird files will not display... have you any idea to fix this issue ?

    I do not like FileBird. There is no bulk edit. Every time I edit a single pic, there is no back key to return to the folder and I can only return to library where I have to find and re-open the file that I was working on.

    hello excellent explanation, I need help, I have to manage terabyte files and folders, I have a lot of difficulty being svg, pes, png, jpeg, I'm looking for templates with root on the left of search and on the right the possibility of image preview just like a site. Thanks I hope you can help me

    • @wplearninglab
      @wplearninglab  Рік тому

      Hi Roberto,
      I think what you're saying is you want to be able to search for images and the search results will show how many rows it finds with the folder that contains the image file and on the right you'll see a preview of the image. Is that correct?

    Thank you , muy bueno,!!!! whats the best gallery plugin a tu opinion? gracias

    • @wplearninglab
      @wplearninglab  4 роки тому +1

      It depends on your preferences. I would check out these plugins: NextGen and Envira. If you're using Elementor or another page builder, you can use it's built-in gallery. That will save you installing another plugin. Usually there are less features in page builder galleries, but it may be enough for your needs.
      I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!

    Hi there, how lightweight is this plugin and how does it compare to WordPress Media Library Folders? I saw some people complaining about it slowing down their site, is that true

    • @wplearninglab
      @wplearninglab  4 роки тому +2

      Hi Petronella,
      I haven't experienced a slowdown, but it may cause issues when there are lots and lots images. My most image-heavy site has less than 1,000 images in the media library. If there is a slowdown, it should only slowdown the admin area since the plugin doesn't load on the front end.
      I did a tutorial for WordPress Media Library Folders last year. It's a good plugin as well. My only issue is that when you move an image into a folder, the URL to the image changes. This will break the image references on your site, which you'll have to redo. If you're building a new site and you're very diligent about organize every image before you put it on a page, then WordPress Media Library Folders is a great plugin.
      I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!

      Just another quick question, I am building a photography site and I want to avoid using a gallery plugin because I am using Elementor Pro but I want to make it easy for the site owner to see which gallery they uploaded and easily delete certain things. Is this a viable solution if paired with ACF & Elementor Gallery?
