I thought so too when this song came out,but now there are a lot of good soulartists, like Amy Winehouse, Corinne Bailey Ray and a lot more, but I agree, it took a long time for these kind of artists to emurge, especially after the whole house-crap and songs like the Camarena, or the Cheeky Girls, not to mention the rapscene, a lot of booty, bling and such, like Leela sang, it's all about the video, all the soul is gone. Well, we took it back, like she instructed in her song, lol.
