I know people be hating on my boy Ji Woo for creating all this angst in this season etc etc....but bro, let me just say this: I am a whore for this kinda angst. And it is done just so beautifully in this drama - just the right amount of fiction and reality. People are so frustrated with Ji Woo because there is no ''SOLID'' reason for him to behave the way he does, but that's because we're so used to seeing the unrealistic '''someone else made me break up with you'' but irl, people drift away for many reasons. I love the fact that his reasons were all his own and not because someone forced him to leave Seo Joon (who is absolutely a fucking angel on earth) Both of their love towards each other is top tier, but their love towards themselves is just so damn different. Seo Joon doesn't suffer the same self-esteem issue like our Ji Woo. He was abandoned by his parents, but he takes it in stride and makes it a point of strength because he has accepted it for what it is. But Ji Woo lost his parents in a painful way and also the background of his parents lives is way more painful for him causing him to be BUILT emotionally different from the way Seo Joon is...
I disagree with people who are saying Ji Woo is treating Seo Joon like this because he doesn't love him, but I think he does. Too much. But he doesn't love himself at all, or he doesn't think he deserves to be with him. Bro, this series is just too good at tackling relationship issues that cannot be explained, just felt.
Anyway, my two cents are here. I fucking love this season even more than the first one, and I love BOTH of them, and I am a whore for this kinda angst, especially in BLs lmao. But they did it so rightly and not in a toxic way at all. I fucking love it.
I don't think they're going to separate but they are going to get back together but as completely different people from before because these kinda breakup changes the dynamics much more since you see sides of your partner that you hadn't seen before...like Ji Woo was trying so hard to be the most understanding supportive partner whilst ignoring how much of a toll it was taking on him, and Seo Joon realized even though he was trying his best to have a "normal''' relationship, it was not enough. People say that Ji Woo should have communicated and talked carefully with Seo Joon instead of ghosting him, and yeah that would've been ideal, but idk guys. People in love and in pain don't make the most rational choices...Ji Woo actually believed that he would be forgotten easily, or at least wished he would be.
Idk. This story just got 5000x better with the second season, but I know I'm in a minority in the fandom who all wanted a happy sappy season hahaha. I like this angsty shit a whole lot more.

For me, I cant really say that I hate this season entirely (or else I wont watch it every week and got myself frustrated 🤣🤣🤣). However, I wish it was excuted much better given longer episodes compared to S1. Throughout ep 1-6 we mainly saw how Jiwon repeatedly treated Seojoon in such rude (?) way. I understand Jiwoo's problem (as explained in ep 7-8) but still not enough to justify his behavior towards SJ. The director/scriptwriter focused too much on Jiwoo's struggle in hope that audience feel empathy of JW but you can see it has backfired.
Basically 8 episodes of going back and forth the issue and leave only 2 eps to resolve it might be rushing for the plot. For ending, we might get to see Jiwoo chasing after Seojoon this time to patch up things (as opposed to SJ's line in s1 of "if its too much, I'll come to you") but I think its not enough to redeem over the fact that Seojoon was the one who has to yield almost every single time. This best boy really deserves someone better, someone that wiling on working things up instead of simply ghosting him.
But one thing that I glad about s2 is no cliche cheating or 3rd party in their relationship. Imma about throw hand at JW's ex gf but I now understand that she's there to show JW what is he experiencing is the same as what she experienced in their previous relationship. The saying of "you wont know till you're in their shoes" was correct all along. Perhaps for all of us too.
Let's hope they will wrap this season in a good way and not let audience regret asking for s2 (me included here sobs 😭😭)
Well well!!!! I agree 200% with you💜 not everytime the reason for something should be all dramatic... But if one would understand, the reason was deep. Self doubt, low self esteem, an unknown fear is something that can't be overcome easily. Season 1 gave us kind of an preview to what their characters are like and this season they showed us that even though people expect everything to be all lovey dovey and happy but it doesn't always. I can never hate on Jiwoo for what he did, because it was hurtful and he was in pain because how he think about himself and his tooo much love for Seojun yet he was hurting him saying harsh things. I don't think I'll ever find any drama that is so realistic and that I can actually relate to in real life.

I FORKING AGREE WITH YOU! THIS KIND OF ANGST IS WHAT I LIVE FOR! That's why I liked blueming as well! First of all I have a thing for facial expressions, colours & a background music. I loved the writing, colours & the story as well! But it was so weird seeing everyone go, "We want a happy ending! He should dump his a$$ & date someone else!". I felt like everyone was drifting away from the reality presented in this. Thank you for explaining what was exactly in my mind!

This season of the show was so intimate snd emotional for all the right reasons. This show has really made its mark on bl world and I love the writers for this, your edit made me love and miss this so much ❤️
To my star 1 was already raised our standards but to my star 2 has become THE STANDARD OF BLS, most bls have made season 2 but no other bl outshined like TMS 2 the plot the cinematography, small details everything was chef kiss ( won't spoil more for the new viewers ).
Again the queen Hwang desul didn't disappointed !! Season 2 was everything i wanted in a bl ❤️ but i wish she won't quit directing bl dramas and there is no need of season 3 but i wish she gives us S3 that is just a personal greed 😭

Wowwww you rolled all the pain of this season up and bundled it into this edit of pain 😭 this is so good! I really liked this season but it was also so painful. The happy ending was so happy and beautiful tho that it soothed a lot of the in between. I think they didn't do enough to show Jiwoo's growth, it felt like he'd changed so much at the end and I wasn't fully clear on why, but I'm glad he did lol in any case, this is gorgeous 💕

i see people saying they're glad the show is demonstrating the very real feeling of loneliness & the fear of getting hurt but there's no reason for him to have acted the way he did. if ji woo was having issues he should've been honest with seo joon about them, it is NOT normal or okay to just disappear completely without words. at this point seo joon should just move on became ji woo constantly rejects him and doesn't open up despite everything he's tried. great edit tho!

This series has a special place in my heart. I started to watch it out of curiosity but by the end i was so into the story. I mean they showed us the struggle and caring of the relationship. I can relate to ji woon here, in my last relationship i felt so lonely, and it was like my existence were depend on them, it was really painful because love shouldn’t be so lonely and hurtful like this.. and its sad because they cannot be together ever again.
