Apparently, the first boss (Apocalypse) was going to be the true form of the imposter Ishka, who would have been present in the underwater city of Akaria. The Pharaoh Spider may have originally not been the boss form of the Pharaoh of Heliopolis.

At the center of the thumbnail is the Pharaoh of Heliopolis, who is not actually a boss.
A fifth boss, Ishka, was to appear in the game, but was cut with the rest of the Sakkara area.

Me and my family played this all the time when I was a kid. Still have the GameCube copy but didn't have a memory card, so I noticed it was on switch. I don't regret every second I spent playing this game. Lotta fun.

I recently finished this game on switch and I managed to beat the geb queen and pharaoh spider boss fights on my first try, however with sets servant and set himself I died multiple times
