  • The Gold, Silver and Bronze masterpieces that will play centre stage at Glasgow 2014 have been unveiled to the public. With 4,500 athletes across the commonwealth training for the chance to win one of these illustrious medals, be sure to tune into all of the coverage surrounding the games so you don't miss a single second of the action.
    The medals have been designed and produced by maker and jeweller Jonathon Boyd and hand finished by students from the Glasgow School of Art -- one of the world's leading design schools. Each unique and hand-finished medal weighs 100g. There are 448 Gold, 448 Silver and 489 Bronze (Boxing, Judo and Wrestling award double Bronze). A total of 1,385 medals will be presented.

      It is pathetic all these countries get dominated by Australia. If USA was allowed to play we would no allow that to happen. It's a shame we had to kick England's ass and win full independence, I would of liked to see us dominate your sorry ass countries.
