Unfortunately, I know that pain and feel you. It’s coming up on 4 years for my bestfriend of over 15 years that I lost and it just made 3 November 5th for my fiancé. I lost them in 2020 five months apart. My heart and world has never been the same either. I still have moments where I break down and can’t do anything but curl up in the fetal position and wail my heart out. Especially, whenever I hear certain songs or see others lose a loved one and grieve. I was never the emotional type or a crier, but losing two of the only people in this world that I had and loved DEEPLY, has turned me into someone that cries over damn near anything dealing with death and/or watching touching moments of people celebrating milestones with their best friend or significant other. Anyway, I’m sorry for the long reply. I just wanted to show you that you’re not alone and what you’re experiencing is survivable. I’m not going to lie to you and say the pain goes away, but it does become slightly easier to push through and be somewhat normal. Also, it’s ok to not be ok at times. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for grieving, even years down the line. Just don’t let said grief stop your life and you living it fully. I know it’s easier said than done, but I believe in you. I know we don’t know each other, but I want you to know that you have at least some other person rooting for you, here to talk if you need to, and praying for you. Make sure you do what’s necessary to be reunited with them in Heaven one day. God bless. 💙
Boys II men weren’t the best, but they were the the ambassadors of 90’s harmony. The memories that these songs bring of simpler times of socialization and fun with friends, are so missed today not only by the people who lived during those times but even by the generation today that have never experienced real music and real fun. Thanks for reviving their songs and the memories of every 40+ year old of their high school dances, these songs being “your song” with your girlfriend or boyfriend, and probably most of your graduation songs and wedding songs lol. 👍🏼
