MK Party determined to have the election results nullified

The MK Party is continuing its campaign to have the May 29 elections declared invalid. The party has now turned to the Electoral Court seeking an order to declare the results invalid due to irregularities. The party led by former president Jacob Zuma claims that were it not for these irregularities, they would have likely won the elections. The party is demanding a rerun of the vote in the next few months. The Party won 58 seats in the National Assembly.
Dr Sithembile Mbete, from the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria provides an understand the numerical reasoning, but it seems to come down to an apparent discrepancy between votes counted and votes cast.
