Anjunadeep mainstay Marsh delivers a brilliant rework of Andy Moor & Adam White’s ‘The Whiteroom’.
First released in 2004 on trance label Liquid Asset, the original single became a firm favourite with Above & Beyond who played it in their standout BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2004, and brought it back into the trance community’s attention when they included it in their set at California’s Dreamstate Festival in 2019. The original single saw a full re-release on sister label Anjunabeats in 2021, and has accumulated over 3M streams so far across all DSPs.
Marsh’s new ‘The Whiteroom’ remix was premiered in his set at London’s Drumsheds for Above & Beyond’s ABGT450 celebrations in front of a crowd of 10,000. Since then, it’s been a highly sought-after remix from fans and wowed again at Marsh’s performance in iconic venue Printworks London.
Marsh is a star on the rise, and one of the most beloved acts on the Anjunadeep label roster. This year alone, he released his remix of Above & Beyond’s ‘Believer’ on acclaimed imprint Cercle Records, recently starred at Anjunadeep’s sold-out takeover of the Brooklyn Mirage, and Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender at the Gorge Amphitheatre to a crowd of 22,000.

I swear I was just thinking of this song yesterday. Not the Marsh remix, but the original. And about how certain classic tracks like this and Sasha's Xpander have synth voices which you never hear in any other track. With White Room, it's that crazy pluck that when filtered turns almost metallic sounding. I've rarely heard it used anywhere else, and it's absolutely breathtaking. When the arpeggio starts bouncing around it just slays me. Still to this day. What a beautiful track.
What do you mean synth vocals? The vocals are a sample of Jan Johnston taken from BT's Remember. Andy Moor was pretty much known for highly manipulating vocals back in the day, but they weren't synthesized.
@@summerhaas No. Not vocals. I mean synth voices. The actual patches. Although I'm sure his are basic patches that were tweaked. Sorry for the confusion, but a few synth designers refer to their patches as "voices"

Original is second to none, but Marsh has taken it to a new level.
It’s so very uncommon for a remix to be as good as the original, so very unusual to hear a respectful remix that maintains the feel of the original, and this tune right here does both.

There’s a great deal of people who do not care about God at all. I think they are screaming this, like a silent scream. This silent screams says; I do not care if God does exist or not.
I mean they actually do not express this in words, but they tell this by their doings, life styles They set up objectives like having charisma, having perfect opposite-sex friendships, having Money and getting more and more pleasure out of lie, as the ultimate objectives of the life. These are of course very small objectives with respect to objectives set out by Islam.
People live like this as if they were to live forever and there’s no death. They focus on these objectives so much that in time. They feel okay to overpower others to gain charisma. They put their carreers above everything or they only focus on having perfect opposite-sex friendships.
They want to gain more Money and get more pleasure in life. Even thought people actually do not put this into words. They live as they do not care if God does exist or not in a way. They do not care at all and they even do not put Allah's existence on their agenda.
We have to explain that if indeed God exists. This fact will reveal to be more important than anything else. We will have to explain to people that the existenceof God change everything. We need to tell the story of the pattern of life and push people into being more concious regarding the matters of life and death.
Death is reality thet ca not and should not be taken lighlty.
