GOALS:
After having completed a large retaining wall project, our client was forced to re-create their property due to the damage from heavy machinery. The goal was to have a complete landscape restoration:
- Give the backyard a park-like feel
- Use larger specimens to give the landscape a more mature feel
- Convert a temporary access road into plantings
- Use plantings to increase privacy

APPROACH:
This project was unusual in the sense that it was a re-creation of a previously existing space as opposed to being a new design. The client had a broad knowledge of horticulture and a specific vision for her project. Since new lighting conditions were created, some areas had to be reinterpreted. After tweaking the original proposal to better suit our client’s needs, the project was ready to begin.
