Thank you on showing how it is for international students. Its really hard to find decisions about international students who need financial aid. Congratulations🎊🎊
Oi, I am a Int'l student seeking financial aid (a full ride actually...), so Thank you very much for recording this video!!! Congratulations on your acceptancess!!!
I’m also an international student who is going to take the IB. I really want to study university in the US and I noticed that the application is truly difficult for us compared to in-state students. May I ask what stats and extracurriculars you submitted? I really appreciate that you shared this, good luck at college!
@@ainawangg_ i think i had about 4.17 weighted GPA (i did take a few AP classes as well like calc bc, bio, seminar, etc), so around 3.8 unweighted! this might be different though since you are an IB student. My toefl score was around 111 i believe! My extracurriculars included like my student council activity, research programs, volunteering, leading club, and also my youtube channel! Nothing special though! Good luck on your application and let me know if you have any qs 💘
@@gregorylane5475 i did some research programs in korea hosted in collaboration with korean university like KSCY! I researched back then about different research programs but they all were soo pricey, competitive, and mostly based in the states, and turns out won’t help much unless really selective programs!
Congrats on your acceptances! I'm also an intl student applying for financial aid and I was wondering if you can give any advice based on your experience :)
thank you so much! i’ll definitely try to apply for safeties and cheaper public schools that you might not need FA for! even applying to private schools that are more generous than public schools will be tough since they’re very very competitive 😭 i applied to my EDI and EDII to needblind schools which were also verrry competitive :( just be ready for anything, and remember everything happens for a reason 💗 sending you good lucks for your journey!🍀🍀
@@letmachadovolley Unfortunatley no :( i applied for the major scholarship as well but it’s really hard to get financial aid as intl student for canadian colleges 😭
@@misovlogs thanks for replying to me! One more question, did you not receive a merit scholarship either? and are you paying full price? Even outside the US, it's a lot of money for international students.....
