Ive always used Behringer products. They work just like the rest of them without having to mortgage your home. Only reason i stopped buying for my current system is because i started going line array
Eric in your opinion. Which speaker of these two would do a better job as a stage monitor for a vocalist? Is there a better option (with bluetooth) at a similar price?
The high frequencies of the dr112 are more than b12X, DR112 processor with better tone output, I do not know what the B12X can do. Also, Thanks for your detailed work
@@ericcheesaihoo Now I have seen the KLark teknik DSP, then the sound of the B12X is as balanced as the ix12.Also if you want to see the DR112 amplifier circuit? ua-cam.com/video/kseNJy5iMqU/v-deo.html
Behringer speakers have a very fast roll off above 10k frequency. Thats why all the highs above 10k are missing and the remaining 'highs' are stuck at 10kh and below...making the sound harsh and making our ears fatigue. Other High quality speakers sound like hi-fi cos their highs are still very good above 10k.
Hi, if you follow my channel, here the list with highest recommendation 1. Audiocenter SA 2. Turbosound Siena 3. Turbsound IQ 4. Turbosound Milan 5. Behringer DR 6. Behringer Eurolive B series
i had the old behringer open it and the driver so small. sound harsh. i like samson speaker. im currently using cerwin vega cve10 thats really loud but sounds too much dsp putting lots of colors on the sound
most cheaper speaker either is not flat or heavy dsp processed for 'smiley" EQ for fulfill laymen ears... for flat speaker, you will need to go higher end

i would prefer B12X for vocal for smooth high and less bassy
Good job, how is the dr series compared to turbisound iq series?
To be honest, in my opinion iq blow the dr out of water.
@@ericcheesaihoo suspected as much! Thank you
They both sound muddy to me...was going to buy cuz of low price but totally changed my mind after this video... thank you 👍!
Great that the video helps you. What other brand and model you will go for?

The b12x ia the same dsp as turbosound ix12... Did not compare internally but the menu system is same. Preset inside is different though

Eric, hello again. Is Behringer B12X comparable to Turbosound İX12?
Ix12.. Turbosound driver and the cabinet make the big differences
Nice job Eric. Thank you.

Tnk
DR is clearer and livelier than B
Agreed
@@ericcheesaihoo You can't turn the treble up on the B12X? Clearly the DR DSP is tuned to be brighter sounding.
@@practicalguy973 but you can change the tweeter
Hi greetings I have this model and I really disappoint since the horn sounds nice but within half an hour or so it goes out.
Which model? Is it because of feedback frequencies?
DJ AlMO Almodovar
