Love the smell of old school "Ether" starting fluid in the morning. Started out with Panthers and worked my way up to the El Tigres. Owned a racing Polaris TXL-340 that was a beast. Many Yamaha SRX's also. Miss the old sleds.
Ring-ding-ding... Thanks for video...Takes me back to the '70's as a kid..Great.. My Dad got a shinney new '72 Panther and I was hooked @ 9 years old. Wanna find one and fix it up. Buggy springs in the front & air cooled. (Use modern 2 strk. oil though) Who needs 12" of suspension travel to have FUN!
What is the name for the style of sled thats at like 4:30-5:00 minute mark, the one that the engine and track are separate from the seat, they have always been interesting to me but idk what to google to look them up
I love them, i got into sleds via garden tractors and I have a few Bolens tractors. One day i thought " if i have this much fun blowing snow on an old tractor, why don't i combine my love of snow, wrenching, and wilderness and get a snowmobile?!" So i have a 90 Jag Deluxe on my patio with 1,500 miles waiting for the first snow. I would love to find one of these Bolens to match my 68 Bolens 1050 snowblower tractor with rare canvas cab.
Sweet video, looks like a lot of fun. That's actually all I ride, is the old sleds. Doing a semi restoration on a '77 skidoo olympique right now. Looks like there's a little bit of everything there lol. Gotta ask though for my own curiosity, what was with that sled that had no hood, seat or anything? Thanks, have a good day
just something about that sound when the sleds start up gives me goose bumps! :)
The Snow Twister is awesome! Johnson JX! Awesome sled to
