We just got handed this box of gold and silver that was bought back from a customer and was told "You might want to do a video on this!". So here's a SURPRISE epic buy-backing. A surprise, because we have no idea whats inside! Take a first look with us and drool away at what we saw. SOME of it will be available for sale at www.bullionnow.com.au/store
Hello from 'Merica 🇺🇲. The 1/2 oz Gold Eagles are like The 1/2 oz South African Kruegerrand, 91.67% gold (22karats). The Half Eagle contains a 1/2 an ounce of .999 gold but adds a little silver and copper to make it stronger this is why the coin itself will weigh slightly more than 1/2 a Troy ounce when put on a scale. Love your videos! You guys are awesome! 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑
Howdy from America! US Gold Eagles are 22k but the amount of gold in the coin would contain equivalent to a 1/4 oz of .999 fine gold. They have some copper and silver added to it I believe to make it harder overall.
Reminded me of when I'd receive a parcel from home during my time in the military (2 years national service). You'd never know what you're going to get but are so excited about everything. Great unboxing vid!
Awesome Video Guys amazing haul. But as mentioned in the comments the American Gold Eagles are 22k but they contain the Gold amount noted on the coin 1/10, 1/4, 1/2, 1 ounce. Since they are 22k they will weigh slightly more as well.
Awesome haul of treasure, whilst I was watching I couldn't help but wonder what the story is... Hopefully the previous owner is ok and just wanted to move the money somewhere else. Quite a variety, I've not come across those 2 oz snakes, really like that lunar series with the matt like finish on the coins. Great video cheers guys
Michael, Joe & others, did you know that the 1966 round 50c. is STILL legal tender in Australia, as they were not withdrawn, they just were not spent by smart people who knew their real value. When I was young a friend of mine was always paying me 55c. for each one I would sell him. SILLY ME.(not smart)🤣😂🆗. p.s. I wouldn't mind betting that 66rounds from Silver Stackers website gobbled some of your cache up.
Hey Michael, I bought my first Oz of Gold at your shop about 2 weeks ago, Matt is wonderful, awesome customer service. I will be back in your shop this Tuesday to grab another Oz I was wondering if you guys maybe had any Kangaroo's available that aren't listed on your site. I'm not fussed on the year, I am just after the Roo's cause I hear they are one of the most liquid from Perth Mint.
Depends on ones situation. Some prefer the speed and ease of selling back to a bullion dealer (one who pays SPOT like us!) and you also have to factor in what their average buy in spot price was. Maybe their dollar cost average spot price is low enough that selling at today's spot is worth losing the premium they would get on the secondary market. How much time and effort would that take to sell to many individual buyers? May not be worth the hassle for this particular seller.
Thanks guys for the video. At what stage you test all those coins via your XRF analyzer? When the customer brings them in or later on before you sell them to us? Also do you test all of them or you take samples.
It might not necessarily be a negative reason... Could have been part of the persons saving vehicle to hit a certain amount to buy their dream home or something :)

Same with Krugerrands? The copper makes them more durable so they can be used, moved around.
Krugerrands are also 22 karat, but are only alloyed with copper, giving them a darker color than the Eagles.
It's like a pirate treasure chest!
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhh!!!!

We can tell you that it was superannuation based. Nothing to do with mortgage payments.

Great to hear you had a good experience in the store! We are completely our of Roo's unfortunately!
Gold eagle's are 22k. I think 91%
They sure are
I'm surprised these guys got it wrong
Us too! Our original thought was correct, not sure why we thought 99.99%. I think the "fine" part through us both off for some reason.
Nice to find (and buy) some nicer looking 66 50s! have only been able to find some really gross looking ones lately .
Thanks for your order!
Love it
New Camera or Mic? Audio much much crisper.
New wireless lapel mics. Glad you noticed!
I wouldnt make a choice to sell any high premium things at spot.. sell to second hand market..

I gotta think about that one-- Dosent work out in grams-premium, but works out in dollar sense..Can someone help me out here?

You guys need magnifying glasses 😂
🤣🤣🤣 Getting too old!

Are the random year eagles gone? Done see them on the website
Gone sorry.
I feel a little sad wondering why someone has to part with such a collection. Tough times...
