- Amazing Fantasy 1000 is easily one of my favorite Spider-Man comics of all time, featuring a collection of one-off Spidey stories that show us why we love the character so much after decades upon decades of the character swinging his way into action in stories like Jonathan Hickman's 'You Get It'.
It's such a wonderful little look at the Spider Verse, where we get to know first-hand that it isn't just the normal Peter Parker we all know and love who gets hit with the old "parker luck" from time to time. They're all Spider-Man in one way or another, and it's simply bound to happen when you put yourself on the line every single day for the people of New York.
It's the responsibility you choose to face when you put the mask on.
With that being said, what better way to show that Spider-Man truly does share the same vibe across the spider verse than to have him voiced by not only yours truly, but by Probably Spider-Man, GodzillaMendoza, and Browntable?

This little short story is immediate proof that Checcetto and Hickman are about to deliver big time with their Ultimate Spider-Man relaunch.
It’s pretty great to hear all of these passionate fans united to recite such a passionately written story for this beloved character.

This story is one of the reasons Spider-Man is my favorite hero of all time. I know lately they've been treating Spider-Man.....less than spectacular in the comics these days. But eventually Spider-Man will swing again because in all of these stories, Peter had proven to be the rock on the shore. Just sitting there, waiting for the tide to go out so he can swing again. Both in and out of story Peter has been battered, beaten, and absolutely wreacked by the tides again and again both in and out of stories. But he's still the rock buried under the shore, waiting for his chance to rise again.

I know a lot of people praise this short story but I can't help but feel like it's sorta saying that no matter the universe Spider-Man isn't allowed to be happy.
I think it's moreso saying that they all have problems, and that it isn't the universe specifically kicking 616 while he's down. ^^

This is my favorite story from 1000 and I love seeing you finally cover it.
These fans seriously need to be hired by Marvel. They all portray Spider-Man in such different yet phenomenal ways! They even evoke previous Spidey voices.
Synth Wave reminds me of Rino Romano & Christopher Daniel Barnes.
Godzilla Mendoza reminds me of Sean Marquette & James Arnold Taylor.
Browntable reminds me of Josh Keaton & Yuri Lowenthal.
