Thanks for this. I kinda understand this TRIMRANGE better. I thought it was related to TRIM, a function that I've never found useful. But TRIMRANGE might come in handy.
I use trim all the time in work due to poor data entry where items have leading or trailing spaces or double spaces between words. When looking them up to clean data, matches are not found so I trim it all and it cleans it up!
@@ExcelFinance-j2p hi. I'm aware of what TRIM does. But it only works on spaces. I never found it useful because it doesn't work on line-feeds and carriage-returns. It was easier for me to find ways to deal with all of those; e.g. use LEN in some cases, and then clip off anything blank before or after text.

Would trimrange work with if is error
If a cell is an error I think it works as normal yes
