I really like having the file explorer tree on the right hand side of the IDE. That way when you open/close it, it doesn't move your code window and disrupt your gaze/attention
Hi thank you for the video. could you share your vscode settings? I would like follow it - if you don't mind. BTW what's is the font you are using. Also would be nice if you share your zsh config and zsh prompt. I am a layman and trying to setup my system. Liked yours.
I think the whole point of Anthony's philosophy is to use the tools that you are comfortable with and can be productive. He uses VSCode with Vim commands. It serves good for him. You can use nvin with many plugins and it will be completely fine.
@@ThePandaGuitarWhen I saw he had two videos, one from VSCode to NeoVim and the other from NeoVim to VSCode, I was like dayum... he went through 2 full dev arcs to get where he is now...
I am too old to learn VIM , becuase learning VIM and getting efficent in it takes years of pratice. My friend got good at VIM after 5-6 years of practice I would rather learn DEV OPS or Machine larning in that time and pivot my career :).

What theme are you using?
what do you think of VSCode Neovim? which is an VSCode extension with real neovim backend
what do use instead of arroys??? you didn't say
Krazy!! Many thanks!
Have a lot of those in my own way, didn't use editor groups though. Adding it to my keyboard shortcuts 👌thank you
Your setup is very clean, willl appreciate a guide video or settings.json
i love zed - its still kinda buggy and doesn't have remote extension but i really enjoy it and has vim bindings out the gate
Finally.
Your a Hero
vim extension is a must.
don't agree on your take on inline errors - it is super useful.
also not opening a file tree is impossible in bigger projects
Which theme is that?
Nevermind, I found it: "Gruvbox Glass"
don't use a mouse, but a trackpad is enough for those "tabbed out" moments. if on a laptop, ofc
Im on a laptop. That I did not come up with that myself 😫
why not use nvim with fancy plugins to completely get rid off IDE's 😂

Time to put my mouse in the waste bin 😂
just switch to neovim
Neovim is good. Used that couple of years.
This kind of para social relationship is dangerous. You can't expect other people to do what you want.
And he did it 😂
By using nvim baby
