I remember listening to Richard's story back when I was still working my part time support staff job for my local church. Loved listening to Richard defending the Samurai village from Horkos while cleaning the worship center. This brings back good memories.
Your story with Richard Blackthorn has inspired my own Warden that used to work with Apollyon and he was hunted down but the newly found Chimera forces and supposedly killed in the Myre. He then was saved by a Japanese family in a small village, they wanted him to stay because they have no fighters and only peasants. But soon he becomes a pseudo guardian for awhile to make amends for all the vile things he had done. But soon he fell in love with a japanese woman and they eventually marry and she will have a baby soon. But all good things don't last long his new home was attacked by Horkos and they knocked him out thinking he was dead the Horkos raiders plundered his home. After my Warden woke up he saw his home was in cinders and she's a long with his cherished friends and people he cared and loved. What destroyed his very soul was finding his beloved wife with spears in her swollen stomach, dropping to his knees he held her pale and cold face and he roared to the sky in rage, despair and sarrow. After a couple days of burying his people and his wife he doned his old black iron armor with gold accents, but he changed the back cloth by painting in his beloved wife on his back cloth and a Kitsune on his tail coat. Now he wanders the Myre and Ashfeld killing any Horkos camp he comes across. His name is Elias BraveHeart I'm still working out kinks of his lore, but he's basically a traveling avenger.
Richard Blackthorn is probably my favorite of your legends, right next to Ruth. I literally got chills during that last part of his story where he fights that trator Gryphon. I will say and this is just my personal opinion, but I prefer his original look as opposed to the new one you gave him. Not that I think it's bad as sometimes simplicity is good, but I liked the paint pattern and emblem to the cape in the original look along with the more rugged armor with the gold lining that seemed to really give it that dragon feel. Still, Richard Blackthorn is an awesome character and remains a favorite of your legends.

The idea of making a knight a samurai leader gave birth to a beloved character and possibly his own hero skin just a though for ubisoft

Personally I liked the old design better but that's solely because it reminds me of the ebony armor from Skyrim.
