What I was thinking is they run into a villain that can alter time or can show different outcomes from different decisions. It would effect Bakugo and show him an alternate universe where Deku was shunned by All might and you know the rest. But he wouldn't know it was a different universe. But he has fragments of different memories.
Actually, there's an animatic series very similiar to this concept by NinaArtNyaa. It's where Deku is teleported to the Villain!Deku AU by a villain he was fighting. I would highly recommend it!

Dude, if I were in deku's position, to be quirkless, to be bullied for years, they told him to kill himself, they told him he couldn't become a hero, not having a dad with you when you are going through so much, it would drive me nuts!
If I were in deku's position i would become a villian, I would fool All might to give his power and train me, tell everyone what they want to hear, having everyone's trust just to crush them and betray them in the end and tell them "You can't become a hero"
They could have a crossover/spin off arc of Deku traveling to a different reality where he turned evil and both of them meet at one point where the evil one learns that there's another reality for him to conquer. So the good Deku needs to find a way back home before the evil Deku does. Evil Deku's backstory could be just like that +Sheyka Akary

I'd picture Evil Deku and Normal Deku having a final brawl, but the latter cripples him for life. However, the former is actually happy about this. It means that this normal version of himself actually has some backbone, plus he made him break.
That would tottally happen if Midoriya wasn't so pure really

Honestly Midoriya has all the backstory to become a villain. That twist would be a great one. I hope they at least make a movie or an arc in which Deku becomes a villain and they would have to flip the world just to take his sanity back. I would love to see the reactions of his classmates specially Bakugo xD hahahha.

Villain Izuku is honestly one of the aspects of why he's my 2nd favorite character in Boku no Hero. Like you said He has the potential backstory and potential of becoming a Villain. or in my interpretation, traits to be an anti hero/vigilante outside the law. Somewhat like the Red Hood/Jason Todd. Instead of earning One for all, in Villain AU, he could have Stain as his mentor in training his fighting skills i.e hand to hand combat, greater Agility and short melee with knives. Along with Support gear gadgetry like a grappling hook and smoke bombs.
Also I'd ship this Deku with Uraraka cause during the USJ attack he'd actually save her from being killed or beaten by one of the vilains , leaving her both shocked but also very curious and grateful, even though they've only met for more than a minute, but leaving quite the first impression on her. Eventually when and if they meet again maybe she wishes to talk with him again, even sympathy and wish to heal the emotional scars he has on his soul for his tragic past and childhood for being quirkless. He ran away from home i.e attempted Suicide at the very building he met All Might, before being found by the League of Villains.
He'd be like the Token Good Teammate by League of Villains standards, but still would not be underestimated, since he can be ruthless towards his enemies.
And with the Hero Killer's training he could even try unleashing the same fearsome aura that Stain shows off at his end, albeit still weaker and could become stronger but no less terrifying.
Sorry If I was mostly rambling I just like the concept of Villain Midoriya a lotso I just like to vent.

Omg yes I've read it in wattpad!!! It's so freaking good that I finished it in 2 days! Not only that, I have a big exam in a week when I read it! Mightless also is the reason why I like MHA! Also, there's another one by the same person about Eri. It's the continuation of Mightless.
The last one may have been inspired from The Incredibles but I think Izuku would make a better villain. he is more sympathetic and more interesting character. you can't help but love him.

Yeah, Izuku doesn't even have the Technical know-how like Buddy did, which in BNHA, is considered a Quirk to create such advanced Technology.
Izuku? He had none of that. The closest thing he could have to a Quirk, is his ability to Analyse a lot of things, but that can easily be passed off as being overly observant.

He only figured out that tactic after LeMillion wrecked him.
Keep in mind Mirio would be A LOT faster and punch A LOT harder.
Not to mention he'd have access to ranged attacks. And further keeping in mind that Mirio already has the type of control over his own quirk that would be needed for OfA it seems plausible his usage might be a lot more advanced than Deku.
So I doubt Overhaul would be left standing by the point he even gets the idea to use Eri as bait to shoot him.

Why would he NOT underestimate Mirio under these circumstances though? It's not like he'd know if Mirio had OFA.
It's basically the same situation as originally except Mirio hits a lot harder and faster.
If anything Chisaki would underestimate him even more than he originally did.

Funnily enough, I was imagining what a Symbiote Deku would be like. I imagine there'd be a villain who produced a corrupting parasite and Deku came into contact with it, altering and enhancing his powers, but it corrupts his mind and distances him from his friends, leading Bakugo to slowly realise how much Deku's friendliness and drive meant, not just to the entire class, but to him in particular, leading him to hatch a plan with Uraracha, Todoroki, Ilia and Tsuyu to remove the parasite from his body.

If anyone is interested in reading I've read a story called "Mightless" at wattpad. It's about villain deku. He became a villain before going to UA. He still went there without anyone knowing he's a villain. It's a very interesting story that I would recommend.

I donno why I think about this but it's seems like a good name to me :)
I’m not that into my hero academia, and the only reason is because they don’t have a good gone bad story arc. Like, Deku could easily fit as a villain for an arc.
I really don't think, it's in his personality though. Something would have to get something switched around in his head to become a villain in Canon. If he didn't have the quirk he would not become a villain, but a vigilante. You can be bullied throughout your life and have the bad things that happen to Deku happen but not be bitter. I would know as I really relate to him especially his school life but the people who care about me say that I am one the kindest and happy person that they know.

Wow, I never realized the parallels between Syndrome and Villain Deku... Of course, not every comic is the same, but in just about every case I've seen, a huge factor is All Might's rejection. Just like Mr. Incredible's rejection of Syndrome.
