I miss KSAD. I flew that approach under the hood during my ppl training just to get a taste of an instrument approach. It was cool watching a professional do it though! Awesome video
This was such an informative video, thanks a lot. I'd love to see more of this type of content from you, along with abandoned planes, looking forward to that series coming back!
Thank you! I was just thinking about that subject last night, I think Glendale has a good selection of abandoned planes. I need to get over there and shoot some video.
@@FlyingWildAZ I work at GEU and I can confirm there are quite a few. There are some MiGs that have been sitting there for years. They recently redid a section of ramp so some of the planes were moved elsewhere but there are still a lot in front of the Airwest Hangar and the Terminal.
I didn't realize you are the one that is making the abandoned aircraft videos. I like all your videos and the last abandoned one you got my plane in the background in E95. Have you been out to the Propwash Ranch Airstrip just west of KSAD ? Jordan just had a fly in there last Saturday. You should come fly with us down in E95. Great video man, I really like the view of the IMC conditions as you captured it. I do want to get my IFR rating at some point and aspire to be a commercial pilot as well.
Crazy question from a rotary wing Flight Nurse Practitioner on an AW139. Why are you able to fly single pilot on a medical fixed wing, rather than dual-pilot as commercial pilots do? Do you find it to be less safe than dual pilot? Where do your Flight Nurse and Flight Paramedic stay while on duty? Questions arise as our 32-year program has never been single pilot, and we, as well as Maryland State Police + Los Angeles Fire Department, fly our AW139s as IFR with ATC control 24/7/365 for safety.
Very nice video and interesting explanations! Would you perhaps say exact date and time of this approach? I would like to fly this in my simulator with the historical weather conditions.
The Commander is such a workhorse. Love them!. Great video.
Love these videos. Super smooth touch down.
Excellent video - very enjoyable
Excellent video and commentary.

Great video! Love watching IMC approaches!
From a fellow Commander pilot and owner, WELL DONE! Keep posting. More people should know the abilities of this beautiful machine.
Thank you Sir! It is one hell of an aircraft.
What a fantastic airplane and video. Thanks for sharing and really highlighting your thought process down the chute
Thanks for the great video, it was very informative.
You're the Patches O'Houlahan of aviation coaching. Actually, I love your narration style. Good job.
Oh hell that is funny! Thank you! Alright lillys, buckle up, it's show time!

Nice Job. Reminds me of flying into some of the Aleutian Islands when I was a Navy P3 Engineer.
Got to take a flight in the P3 as an observer when I was in Iraq. Awesome experience and an iconic Lockheed aircraft to boot.
NICE INSTRUMENT WORK!
