There have been multiple calls where scammers say their scams hardly ever work. The average person in India doesn’t even make $150 USD per month, but everything in India is cheap enough that they can live off of that. So they don’t need to have a ton of successful scams to make enough to live. Kitboga has about 7000 twitch subs at any given time, and streamers make roughly $2.50 per month off of each of the *lowest tier* subs. That’s about $17500 per month not accounting for donations, higher tier subs, and UA-cam ad revenue. When all is said and done, Kitboga probably makes around 100-150x what an average call center employee in India does. So, not more than ALL scammers put together, but certainly a few call centers put together. Not that it matters, like, at all. Lol

I gotta agree with the not answering unknown numbers thing. Would save you a lot of time. Especially if it's just one call. If it's someone you actually know calling from some other number they will try more than once if its anything important at all. Dont waste your time!
"Our entire department is here to process orders and refunds, most of which are between $100-$500. Unfortunately, our business account can only send or receive exactly $5,000 every single time." Makes sense 🙄
Kit, your improv skills are very impressive. You've found a calling where you can insult stupid people, fight crime and hilariously entertain all at the same time. Priceless. The the tech companies and online shopping providers should all be paying you a fee to keep these lazy idiots off their customers. The scammers should be shaking in their boots they may get you on the line some day.
With some of these guys it's almost impossible to tear their attention away from the script! They're around 80 IQ and completely jaded from thousands of phone calls with idiots every day. They don't even really hear what you're saying most of the time.
I'm sure the language/culture difference doesn't help. Then, of course, many of these guys are overworked, underpaid, and were tricked into working there in the first place so their morale is not the best. Not that that excuses it, of course. They presumably know about these scams and should not be putting themselves into the position where they can get trapped by one and anyway you don't lie, cheat, and steal from retirees just to solve your own problems.
@@mohammadwasilliterate8037 You're generalizing for the whole country. Some are stupid people, some are super smart. And your point is invalid, because even Egypt has a lower average IQ.

@@_Cfocus I've never had a credit card, but I'm assuming that number is how much you've spent on the card and need to pay back (with interest), not how much money you have available to use
@@_Cfocus When you use a credit card, you are not actually paying for the item you are buying, the bank is. So when you buy that item, you are saying that you will pay the bank back for that item. The number that you see on your online banking starts at 0 for a credit card and goes up as you spend using the card. That number represents the amount of money that you owe the bank.
Wait, is that really how they work in the US? They're state provided? In the rest of the world, you're just paying a banking circuit to do all your transactions instantly with their own funds, hence the name credit - they are giving you credit instead of having a debt towards you as with normal bank accounts
Some of you don't know what gaslighting means but loveeee to say it these days. That's just manipulation and being spiteful, gaslighting is making someone think they're going crazy by manipulating, not pitting one person against another..

“At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that can be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and God have mercy on your soul.”
Gnome Party Yeah, but that’s the reason it’s done that way. Because most often the company doing the numbers is obviously looking at it from an accounting POV.
HAH! He got so nervous at the question about how did he put money into her credit card if he didn’t have her credit card info! He said literal nonsense! 😂😂😂

Lol I know this is a older video but I was watching it in my dining room and when he started talking to Alexa, my Alexa turned on and tried to cancel an order from Amazon. Great stuff
I like how they talk with “emotional, often angry, undertones” not with ideas: “Why is this thing like that?” “BECAUSE OF… mumbled incoherent reasons… AND I SAY SO, now, let’s keep going.”
I died when he started telling them made up nonsense about how credit cards work lol. “Every citizen receives a credit card when they turn 18.” “They put money from your taxes onto your credit card.”
"Bye Buddy, hope you find your dad!" Thanks Mr. Narwhal! 👋🏼 Their setup is the DUMBEST one we've heard in a while! Not only does it make literally no freaking sense that they'd only be able to make transfers of EXACTLY $5000, but also, the refund scam relies HEAVILY upon the emotional manipulation factor in order to be successful for them. 3) if possible make the internet super slow and say you have dial up
4) have car issues (not a crash) like flat tire or ran it of gas (gas might be fun as you can walk to the nearest gas station and only get gas and forget the gift cards)
5) when you think they are speaking "German/french/Spanish" whatever language you want to say conference call in a friend who can speak that language to make things easier now their is a third person speaking a language the other two parties don't know
6) steal the cards and when the obviously can't authorize as they were never paid for be completely confused by the concept of how gift cards work
7) use a really old os preferably one with clippy if possible
8) say your grandson downloaded this game and now there's geese everywhere (have the evil goose Extention and try to have them deal with that)
9) keyboard is broken have to use controller to type
10) even more broken English than them
11) get pulled over by the police (especially good for the scams where they say there is a warrant out on you)
12) on one of those pop ups that say malicious sight etc. Be a teen who is desperately trying to fix the computer before their parents get home because they don't want to get in trouble for being on a website they should not have been
13) run into the preacher when getting cards and have Edna ask if it's okay to lie and the preacher go on about not lieing
14) "buy" scratch tickets with the extra money they send you instead saying your going to make you both rich

I was getting harrassed by a recorded message 4-6 times a day every day, I answered it one time to try to get them to stop, the girl was actually nice. I told her please stop calling, my little grandson was in hospital and everytime the phone rang I thought it was a call from the hospital. She started whispering and said don't ever press 1. It worked.. they only call maybe once a month now.
Any number u dont know dont answer...google the # 1st
Wow. The first time I'm reading about someone harassing a Karen...🤣🤣😁
I gotta agree with the not answering unknown numbers thing. Would save you a lot of time. Especially if it's just one call. If it's someone you actually know calling from some other number they will try more than once if its anything important at all. Dont waste your time!
I think it is possible to block phone numbers in smartphones if that's where you're getting them. If they're on a landline, well, I'm not sure

They presumably know about these scams and should not be putting themselves into the position where they can get trapped by one and anyway you don't lie, cheat, and steal from retirees just to solve your own problems.

i still dont have a credit card im 17 turning 18 after few months, can you explain to me why is it bad, and what does that number represent
That number represents the amount of money that you owe the bank.

the scammer here is so braindead I swear 😂
midair Aren’t they all?
Wait, is that really how they work in the US? They're state provided? In the rest of the world, you're just paying a banking circuit to do all your transactions instantly with their own funds, hence the name credit - they are giving you credit instead of having a debt towards you as with normal bank accounts
@@bacicinvatteneaca maybe because nearly every citizen is in dept 😂 Broken system, but if everythings broken it works somehow....
A lot of people don't know how credit works either. They don't understand that it's a loan that has to be paid back.

Their setup is the DUMBEST one we've heard in a while! Not only does it make literally no freaking sense that they'd only be able to make transfers of EXACTLY $5000, but also, the refund scam relies HEAVILY upon the emotional manipulation factor in order to be successful for them. This setup takes that component completely out; it made it fall totally flat. 😬
