Does the Golf R in the video have a stock downpipe? The description does not clarify that, it only says Cat-back exhaust. The flyby of underneath the cars appears to show a down pipe modification before the resonator.
This can't be just a cat-back system, the pictures underneath show it has an aftermarket front connecting pipe so the downpipe must also have been changed.
I have a Golf 7 R 2016 with HJS Downpipe 200 cpi high Flow Cat and Milltek Exhaust 100 mm blank round trims resonated and more.The sound is very good !!
Are u weird ? Resonated is less sound cause it's a silencer that was made to make less noise and no fire spitting. Non resonated is a straight pipe or just pipe that will allow you to have more sound and if you have lots of horses you can actually get fire spit something, well it matter what cat back you have and downpipe
***** I explained it wrong lol here in the UK they have the same cat back exhaust but they also have one called "cat back race system" which is the exact same thing, but comes without the oem style valves, so it's like always loud.
+andig4 I believe milltek sells plugs for the cables to the original valves - Which tricks the ECU to believing that there is a valve there - and you dont get any error codes :) This is the serial: Milltek-SSXAU405

Indeed future mk7.5 owner and this is probably the only thing I don’t like about the car. I suppose I can always buy a shell and make a fun weekend toy that sounds pretty though.
dylan berry GTI Clubsport owner here! Check out the Bull-X Valved exhaust. Its pretty hard finding good sounding stuff & lots of reaserch is needed. Bull-X have a very good demo video with diffrent configurations, that produces diffrent sound accordingly! ECS Tuning have The Most Incredible sounding Valved Exhaust i have ever heard of ANY brand !!! - BUT, its ONLY avalible for MK6.....

2016 but the North American version doesn't come with LED tail lights unfortunately :( Or a sun roof.. or foldable exterior mirrors..

I paid £1100 for the race system catback. Including fitting. I live in the UK. Thats pretty much the same I assume, due to the exchange rate
