MIKE YOU ARE ONE OF MANY PEOPLE THAT DEVELOPED THINGS WE ALL ENJOY TODAY,MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU.
Great video Windy. Thanks for sharing. Keep them coming, they are much appreciated.
Thank you Windy for taking the time to put this together!
Great video windy. Thanks for sharing the great footage of electric stunt
SHARING KNOWLEDGE IS ALWAYS BEEN MY GOAL.
Looks like there's 2 cables connected to a handle. Very cool , enjoyed the video Windy and FLY SAFE OUT THERE!
I CAN ONLY MAKE MORE IF I CAN GET THE ORIGINAL DISCS BACK,downloading youtube is too low of a resolution.
DAVE DID HIS PART TO HELP US ALL,quite a talented guy.
Nice P51
WALT CERTAINLY DESERVES CREDIT AND I AM SURE MORE PEOPLE DID THE BASICS AND ALL DESERVE CREDIT.
ALL IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER,should I say the EAR of the beholder.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHO WAS FIRST AND IT CERTAINLY COULD BE DEBATED.WALT AND MIKE BOTH DESERVE CREDIT IN MY BOOK.
I BELIEVE IT IS BOB HUNTS DESIGN AND MIDGLEY MADE THE CANOPY.
Midgley did make the canopy. Canopies are still available in limited quantities.
I believe Walt Brownell was the original pioneer in Electric Powered Stunt. Unfortunately Walt was not on the east coast and did not win any contests with his planes so he does not get the recognition he deserves.
Very cool. Was he in front of Igor Burger with the development?
Yes, I was the first to successfully fly the full pattern in 2003 and then well documented at the US Nationals in 2004. I also developed the first control line timer with Sergio Zigras. Many firsts. Electric control line has been flown since the 50’s. So I was not the first to try it.
Walt Brownell was doing electrics in the 1990 tys
Many people flew electric before me. Electric control line dates back to the 50’s. I was the first to complete a pattern successfully.
We need plans for that P51
It’s Bob Hunt’s design. He should have plans. I am not sure if he will still cut the lost foam wing fixtures.
nothing sounds as good as my fox .59 with no muffler. in old smoothie and my other 2 stunt planes. i tried electric with throttle control to be homest it sucked. oh it flew okay did the patteren okay but did not sound good at all. mor elike a sickly bzzzzzzz
