Heya :3, great unboxing video, and cool to hear how Altered appealed to you! Your Uniques are certainly cool and all are playable, which is always a relief haha. I'd say your Sakarabru is great with Atsadi, but he needs more bravos control/protection than the current set offers, so watch out for those in future sets. The Jeanne d'Arc is really nice actually in late game Sierra, since she's most likely to drop robots in the afternoon (indtead of noon or night). You'd need the mana to play both jeanne and a 3+ drop permanent though (Open the Gates after having two hives would be the motherload!). Your Robin Hood looks sick! I do agree though that it's a bit expensive, and it says 'Characters' instead of 'Cards', so it doesn't tax as much. The card draw is really strong, but only up to 7 mana, so you have to play with cost reduction or not resource until you got your money's worth out of him. On the other hand, I think you pulled an absolute banger with the Sandman. In the current meta, Waru is dominating with sleeping bureaucrats (especially RH). So the Sandman is a must in that deck, with this one being really well balanced: cheap, good stats, and an arrow trigger sleep ability (instead of ✋ + 2 boosts). The only way it'd be stronger is if the reserve ability turned into an improvement in the above mentioned strong suits. Overall a really nice box!
Very nice. I said only yesterday I don't typically watch whole unboxing videos but I feel like you got through this in a reasonable amount of time and I got caught up in your chat, especially nice hearing about PAX experience.
I get what you mean, but there's upsides to this game design of getting foilers separately. It makes it easier and cheaper to bling out or you can sell foilers to recoup costs and not have to find standard versions of the card to slot in your deck. It reduces variance too, since your expected value doesn't depend on one or two top rarity, foiled chase cards.
@@Chamos_games very true, however, I think we'll have to wait and see the pricing for printing and shipping foils. It could be cheaper but it also could turn out to be just as expensive as if you were buying foil singles from the aftermarket.
I know nothing about this game but I find it fascinating to watch. And yeah, that Robin Hood is beautiful! The early days of a new TCG are a magical time
Jeanne d’arc is good because he will have boosted stats that can compete in a region when generally speaking, jeanne has weak stats. Robin Hood…holy cow that’s good. Who doesn’t like card draw 😂
The Jeane is also summon in both I think the normal rare only summons in one. Plus the bonus effect. Seemed like triple upgrade to me. I’m going off memory of watching box openings for the last 6 hours lol. Not going to perfect
Some are cut rougher than I would expected from the NA facility. The European facility is near flawless IMO, other than the occasional off-center QRcode
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I'd like to add that they took into account visual noise and spatial perception when designing this part of the game. You're right that they don't look appealing, but they thoroughly weighed this against the benefits of a qr code system and made efforts to minimize their visual impact. The vast majority of people will automatically ignore corners of a card that are not important (spatial perception), so you won't even register them after playing a couple rounds. Holding them right handedly will also have you cover them with your thumb or other cards in your hand (visual noise reduction and choosing area value). I'd argue that oversized text boxes, banners and borders in lieu of larger art pieces are less visually appealing than one qr code (looking at SWU 👀).

I appreciate that! Glad you enjoyed the video, and thank you for all your support!
adding hype music when you pull a banger card is a good addition to add to packs opening
Worth the wait indeed - that unique with the draw is insane.
Only knowing about this game is from your videos, I enjoyed your first video reading the cards and where they fit and why
Great video, great pulls! Opening my 7th Altered box today at my LGS 😅
Hope I get a Robin Hood half as good as yours at some point! Great pull
Good luck! :D
I have pulled 4 unique bravos sakarabrus, seeing you pull one gave me ptsd
Awesome game and great draws. A little surprised and sad that you don't get any foils in the box😢
:C

Edges are really bad for this TCG

thoth pronounced toe-th
Yeah I gotta figure the pronunciations out asap lol
These Cards with QR Codes are so ugly …

@@Chamos_games can you please send me an ugly QR Code to get my answer 😂
@@ganzgenau706 I don't know what you mean, your phrasing is a bit off :/
