Thank you Malcolm for this fantastic watch. I was 19 and playing my 1st year on the European Tour and always remember Vincente Fernandez from Argentina not being allowed to play in Britain after the Falklands War started but could play in Europe. I won the Dutch Open in 1982 and Fernandez finished joint 2nd. I take my hat off to you guy's who went to the Falklands for us and I can tell you now Malcolm holing a putt for a point in the Ryder Cup will never compare to being in a war and what you guy's went through. Thank you Paul.
Presumably he had a nickname as shouting Duck in that scenario would've caused pandemonium. Looks a cracking place to visit. Thank you for your service
Until Malcolm mentioned Dollar I didn't make the connection until I reread the title. I lived in Kenya and boarded at Dollar and knew Jim but didn't know Malcolm who is 4 years younger than me. A great video and a great telling. Maybe one day I'll make the journey from the west to Duck's Inn. All the best.
Brilliantly put together. I've had the pleasure of staying and playing with Malcolm and he is exactly how he comes across in this piece. Humble, great company and a marvelous host.
I'm speechless. Incredible story and journey. I didn't expect a golf movie to hit so deep but man was it worth it. It's truly awesome to hear how the game unites people with an impactful life story and somehow helps make sense of it all and coming on top of it. Also incredible photography there, definitely captures golf's connection to nature.
Absolutely smashed it out the park with this one, lads. Seriously, this was a joy to watch. What an inspiring person Malcom is. Could honestly listen to him all day! ❤
Went there September 2023 and was excited to see it. When we got there we found out it was the last night it was open as he decided to sell it. Met Malcom. Very nice guy but was sad to see it go.
respect M boy from an old friend from the West u missed the fab restaurant days ?? if you give me the shots needed we will play soon cheers Angus I won't even have a plug for my greasy spoon joint here in glasgow !! cheers

I've loved every time I've stayed at The Ducks, Malcolm is the ultimate host. Still haven't managed to complete the putting challenge!
Will be in for a few sherberts in July on our stay at craigielaw ❤❤❤

Real shame the Duck's hotel is no more , it has been butchered into a trendy woke establishment.
