- Dhanashri Ghaisas (desciple of Vidushi Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande) performing at Yuva Kriti 2013 organised by Mitra Foundation at Pune on August 25, 2013. Accompanists - Milind Kulkarni on Harmoniun & Milind Pote on Tabla.
We love to hear this bandish with my 9 and 4 years old girls. Raag Bhimpalasi can take away stress and Dhanashriji has done justice to it totally.

आज सकाळी मी अदवंतान्कडे महाभारताचा रथ आणण्यासाठी गेलो असताना जान्हवीमॅडमनी सान्गीतल्यानुसार मी युट्युबवर आपला भिमपलास ऐकला. द्रुतची बंदिश फार आवडली. रागाचा विस्तार फार कल्पतेने केला आहे व मेलोडियस आहे. ताना-बोलताना अप्रतीम. एकंदरीत भिमपलास ऊत्तम , मनाला भावला. सरगम गायले असते तर one more feather in ur cap. Now i hv bn tempted to listen all ur performances. Long live Dhanashree.

What a performance...👏👏👏👏 Realised she was singing just like vidushi Dr ABD and later came to know that in fact she is her shishya only. No wonder note to note the same brilliance and mesmerizing flow - thoroughly enjoyed every bit. NIce rendition by Dhanashri. Can't help but compare it with her mentor and aunt Vidushi Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, I think she has to learn how to sing the high notes like her aunt and control her breath better. I am sure this young lady will mature with age to sing like if not better than her aunt. God Bless you Dhanashri.
I was thinking that her rendition of the raag sounded shockingly similar and almost identical to Ashwini Bhide-Deshpande, everything from the Bandish to the composed Tarana; just a much smaller range, fewer Saaptak

Can anyone give me the notations of this tarana or some other tarana in raag Bhimplasi?
A classic singer do not need any notations... Infact they make their own compositions
