Guys, we complained about this ALL offseason. You have to start playing the young guys. Smith is a shifty slot receiver with returning upside. Wilson is an outside matchup nightmare. Puka Nacua was a 5th round pick and absolutely balled out. If we get half of that production between the 2 rookies that’s more than enough for the WR3 and WR4 spots. There are enough mouths to feed between Brown, D Smith, Goedert and Barkley

We all agree that both Howie & Jeffrey are "ALL IN," spending over $400MIL this off-season through free agency and rewarding all their blue chip players with extensions. Not to mention, they still have $27MIL in cap space to spend! I totally agree about playing the young guys but we are in WIN NOW mode. My concerns are the lack of pass rushers, safety, TE2, and of course, LB depth. I have been saying all free agency to go sign Justin Simmons, and solidify the FS spot. It makes too much sense for both sides and he would bring a leadership that reminds me of what Malcolm Jenkins submitted to our backend. Bottom line, I believe Howie has something up his sleeve and I feel like a trade for a KNOWN pass rusher to help our young secondary, and take some of the pressure off of Sweat, Huff, and the interior D-Line. If the Giants can get a player like Brian Burns for only a 2nd & 5th round draft pick?! Remember when the Rams offered TWO 1st & a 2nd for Burns!?!
