Yeah, the way that RB25 is revving, you can hear it’s not putting the power to the ground, shredding tyres!
His diff gears are too short also needs longer ratio to help with traction
He didn’t have semi slicks and yet that car was pretty fast in bad conditions well with the right tires could be closer🤷🏼
S14 was on 225 uniroyals to save the temporary diff. Any more grip with that diff and its not gonna race at all. We are fitting new rear end super wide and a semislick so we can push it then. All those saying why use crap tires on a big build now you know . It's a daily came as it is . Least it still drives and made for good viewing :)

Living in the US I only ever saw s13 hatches like the one in this video but man after finding out about the coupes, I never would want the hatch over it, the coupes are gorgeous

Great to see an SR triumph. I have an s14a and it’s so good to see what’s possible on the ‘stocker’ engine with plus plus mods. Fair play Luke. But like others say, better conditions, better tyres, might have been a different outcome…

s14 driver cant shift. redlined every gear. you can cleraly see how the s15 pulled away on every shift

There is no 200SX Fastback in Europe, it was discontinued in 1994 and is a hatchback-like shape.
Less power would have made them faster! I was running mid 13's in my 300bhp S13 20 years ago. 400bhp and sticky tyres and a good traction control system is probably a sweet spot.
Fr, one of my old t28/550s/poncams set ups made 308whp and ran high 12s @112mph, this was on 235 street tires as well.
It was also damp. Look at the picture in picture shots in some of the footage, you can see water moving across the glass...
Also this is mainly a tire issue, for crying out loud the highest HP car in the video was on 225s 🤣 should be on at least a 265
Bag of cement in the boot would help too. S bodies notoriously light at the back

Yea it was easy for the guy, those guys we're cocky but their car didnt back up their faces. Although i thought all cars were going to blow up regardless. Yea i rather have a V8 than one of those ricers.

as a zenki s14 owner i proper loved this race! fantastic driving from all drivers! but that s15 driver knew his car well! maybe a race in all s-chassis cars, S13/180sx, S13 Silvia, s14 zenki, s14 kouki & the s15!!!! that would be an absolute blast to watch!!!!!!

In Sweden theese cars would have CA18DET (S13) and SR20DET (S14) and (never sold in Sweden sadly) SR20DET (S15) but instead of 200 HP, 250 HP...
Would be cool to see the original engines (but tuned, we had one in Sweden that tuned the CA18DET (well with a small stroker kit) to about 630 HP) and a SR20DET to about +570 HP so you could match them up... CA18DET and SR20DET and still get a race!
I think that needs to run again because the driver of the s14 didn't wanna trash someone else's cars so bring a driver who will send it to the mooon

yeah, i agree with others here, the S14 either needs a better timed gear shifts and a better driver who knows the car well.., and yeah, the tyres as well.., but, S15 rocked it!

The 14 makes power but it's problem is that heavy cast iron RB block. And maybe bad tires because he spun them quite a but trying to get off the line
