He has shown flashes, whenever he does decide to pick the ball up & carry it. However Nwaneri base level is really high. However what makes him special is he can decide games with his final actions whether its through as dribble, pass, cross or more often then not a goal.
Mo, I really don’t see Arsenal playing Nwaneri frequently. He will be slowly integrated into the team and he will play, as you said, in cup games and possibly group stage games in CL. He will also come off the bench to make a few appearances in the PL. That’s how I see Arteta integrating him into the first team.

Personally I think its down to James injury history. Bombing up and down the wing is not for him, not with the way his body is built, if he plays as wingback, he will be fit for 10 games a seaspn and we have a massive sample size to come to this conclusion. Me personally, if I had a good passer of the ball, but he cant handle a lot of running, but is in a position that involves a lot of running, I would try to do something similar. Obviously it doesnt work, but he will have to play him somewhere if he is fit. For me Gusto is much better for a wingback role, much lighter and explosive for it.
