What confidence for a 17 yr old lady. She started Simon down the whole time she was singing her 1st song. Very pretty and extremely talented. I always loved her barefooted on stage.

Emily can sing, she can play, and has more heart in her singing than most performers, she does not need any of this drama of the X factor. Emily is a star regardless what some fat cats think of her.

Criminal that Cowell didn't sign her. So much potential. She's still released a few independent singles. Even Dalton from last year not released anything, Scarlett 2nd place nothing. Whoah it's pointless even going on XF nowadays.
she was probably better off not being signed by him, given what louis and little mix have said about their syco contracts. i think independent is the best route for her as she has quite a unique voice and sound - syco cares more about getting to number 1 than producing quality music.
I agree with luna love. I think independant is the best route. A lot of people who are signed to Simons label are usually boxed in and don't have that much freedom in there music.
Good songs for her would have been Ruby Tuesday (the Melanie version) and Running to Stand Still (U2).
According to wikipedia, she has released an album and singer under the name ili (all lower case).
I noticed they blocked the comments on all her videos of when she was eliminated. We all know Matt was sleeping with Nicole. She had the hots for him and was gonna vote no matter what. That’s why Simon was so disgusted and voted right away for Emily. When he hugged her it was sooo fake as if he was glad she was voted off bc she was a threat. Emily was robbed due to backstage BS!

X factor doesn't look at the more talented artists, but the ones that would make them the most money. The truth is in music nowadays, Matt would make more money than her. While she would make better music, unfortunately, that's not enough to win the competition. The x-factor is kind of rigged in that sense. Louisa Johnson, Matt Terry and Rak-Su are perfect examples of this. They weren't the most talented artists, but they were the ones that would of made the most money. Sad that Emily didn't win.
