I bought one too after watching Tomleys review, and got to say this could be revolutionary for those who don't want to use two hands to control R/C or those who are one handed. After returning to the hobby after 12years I am surprised no other manufacturer have thought of it yet! Well done HotRC and good review too Perth dude 🤘
@@PERTHWESTOZRC When I was a child I received a Bigfoot RC monster truck kit for my bday with a JR Propo 2CH stick radio, so I got used to steering with my right hand. so with the HotRC controller the throttle and brake is the next step to master equally well.
WOW, this fighter style controller works surprisingly well. I love it. I may have to pick one up. As you said, it's ideal for anyone that only has full use of one arm/hand but it looks like a cool option for anyone. Great find Dave!
Yes I agree its a great idea for one handed control especially for those that may find it hard to use common pistol grip RC remotes. Cheers for watching brother👍
One thing that this remote design give is the access to have and actually drive RC cars for those who, unfortunately, lost one of their hand or born with only one hand. Seems like the interface design has good ergonomic too.
this is a super cool concept Dave! I had seen Tomely review this thing and he really liked it as well! you did a great job showing all of its functions. nice to see that you liked this as well! shooting running videos with this might be easier as well! glad i saw this a second time with excellent reviews, think i may be getting one soon! thanks for sharing brother!😛👊✌
Thanks for stopping by Robby, i think it's a great idea and when i saw it on Aliexpress a few times I decided to try it out myself and definitely has a place in the market for those that might find it a little difficult otherwise using a standard TX. Not only for one handed driving and filming.
Im going to get one for my rc power wheels project. I think it eill be easier for the family im gifting it to, to learn how to drive it for their daughter
This transmitter looks like it works really well! How precise or fine is the steering control? I'm building a trailer for my Redcat Gen 7, and I want to be able to reverse with the trailer attached, which requires careful steering
Nice one Dave I've been looking at them myself thay would be great for left handers as left hand controller's are getting hard to get without paying big bucks as always buddy your videos are awesome 👍😎
This is probably the only flight joystick handle i could find I want just the handle cause im building my own hotas So all i would do with this is strip it down, redo the wiring and mount it to a joystick
I had a stroke and can only use my left hand. Can throttle and brake control linearity just like the HotRC CT-8? Does it have another input for updates?
I have not tried it out on a tank yet but it would be as simple as left and right would move only one track at a time for turning , forward throttle would engage both tracks, and reverse the same

Thanks for watching mate, it definitely is a great option to drive RC one handed and really easy to get used to as well isn't it? 🍻

hey does it have controlled throttle incrase or nah
great share👍
Thanks for making such a great product! @HOTRC I plan to test this remote on my RC boats soon!

It was actually better than I expected for the price point, very responsive controls and easy to use in either hand
Great unboxing and review this should definitely help people that have trouble with their hands and what a great price

Great review Dave, that cruise control is awesome. I’m sold I need to get myself one. 👍💯💥
Thanks Dan, the more i drove this buggy with it the more i liked the idea 👍🍻
Cool rc and review, great run

@@Dingleberriesalad sounds like a good idea, super easy to control with this transmitter, thanks for watching Derrick 👍🏻
@@PERTHWESTOZRC thanks for the feedback! I hope it's awesome! Great content! I subbed!
🇮🇪 very good upload brilliant
Thanks John 👍
I really like this tx, good review Dave. I just ordered one.
You will enjoy using this TX Greg, so easy to operate

Soon they will have a gyro steering controls on these. Twist whole controller left or right to steer.
This is probably the only flight joystick handle i could find

I was looking at that myself
So how can you make the transmitter 9v??? In the description, they say 4v to 9v but all you can put in is 4 aa batteries
Good Question i am not sure casue i just used the AA batteries, maybe they make a version that takes one of those 9v batteries?
1 in each hand...2x hpi WR8...whohoo
How do you adjust endpoints?
They make an even smaller one. I bought one of these so that i would be e able to drive my platform one-handed so that I can multitask
.

Sorry to hear about your stroke Daniel, not sure if there are any updates on this tx and I haven't used the ct8 so can't compare
Hey mate, could you tell me the length and height/width of the receiver?
Do your know how to use the tank mode ?
I have not tried it out on a tank yet but it would be as simple as left and right would move only one track at a time for turning , forward throttle would engage both tracks, and reverse the same
I wish i have that controller since i injured my left thumb.
They are very inexpensive, link is in the description
will it work on aircraft
Yes i am pretty sure it states on the listing that it can work for RC planes
Gracias no entendía la función de este pequeño control pero ya prendí como funciona gracias 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Oscar👍
Have you tried on a boat yet?
No I haven't got around to trying it on an rc boat yet.
