    A quick question: if you are photographing something like a pasta bowl and the bowl is the object of interest, do you suggest 45 degree angle or flat lay?

    • @replicasurfaces
      @replicasurfaces  3 роки тому

      Hey Leigh!! Thanks for asking your question here too, I didn't want my answer to get lost! I would suggest doing both for the sake of having extra content because I think the overhead angle used in a flat-lay is the classic way to show off a bowl of food as well as show off any special styling or swirls of noodles in a pasta dish for example, but if your subject or food is in a bowl with some textural elements or something that you think may add to your scene (like the texture of the actual coconut bowl in the video), then 45 degrees is the move! I am a huge advocate of creating as much content as you can using one dish to maximize your ability to use that one dish in multiple ways and across channels without feeling like a broken record! 😎
