I noticed in some of the intro's, character's facial expressions changed when it was mater Roshi. For example, Krillin looked happy instead of embarrassed in his intro, and Trunks looked happy instead of serious.

8:00 is my favourite interaction. It really hit me with this how far goku has gone and grown in strength. Growing up watching dragon ball and Master Roshi training Goku as a kid to now really hit hard. He’s proud and you can tell. Really brings genuine tears to my eyes
After Gohan died, Roshi was the second parental figure to Goku. So makes sense Goku, his fellow students and even some antagonist/enemies (Goku Black/Beerus/Jiren) respects Master Roshi.

I think that's a solid interaction. Vegeta's had some brutal lessons in not underestimating enemies. (Cell comes to mind.) He knows Roshi is dangerous even if their power levels are vastly different, he's not going to make the mistake Kakarot might have of not going in full force. In a way, it's the greatest complement Vegeta can pay to Roshi, to take him seriously as a threat.

My favorite part was Roshi's saying "Pretty good for an old man, huh", while looking back at 21 on his team.
A lot of these are way super wholesome and very nostalgic. The details of this game never cease to amaze.

Funny enough, it's fitting.
Roshi was Goku's first teacher, in both martial arts and, to a lesser degree, general education. It didn't take long for Goku to surpass him, but Roshi's teachings remain with him even now. The Kamehameha was originally Roshi's technique, perfected over several decades of training. Goku learned the importance of basic, constant training and the ability to channel chi from Roshi. Even decades later, it's obvious that Roshi's original lessons have stayed with Goku.
