How happy I am to have found this video! For many years, we caught Arlo's shows at the Coach House and the Barclay Theatre in California. We miss him here. I always say I feel like I got "religion" when I attended Arlo's shows. He has a way of saying and singing just the right words to unite us and leave us in a better place than we were in when we walked in the door. Thank you to Arlo and his family.

I heard a black man sing about Katrina, and i cant find his song. That was a delta blues song, thats where? I aint heard anything as good since. All the best gets lost? Im hoping i can back track tge videos google chose me, they all feel mega important.
I live in East Tennessee. I really do not know what to suggest, but, if you do visit the area, you can hear some spectacular talent. I am on Facebook, Dave Mundt, so, if you do decide to take the bull by the horns, message me...I will do what I can to make it an interesting and pleasant visit. America is not in a good place right now, though, I am sorry to say, and so it is tough to recommend folks visit.

i get angst everytime i hear this song...love woody and arlo and family...just get angry whenever i hear a non indigenous person sing 'this land is your land , this land is my land' and i hear the tens of thousands of my ancestors who were murdered, who had land stolen, who were butchered and starved....no ! this land you all claim has a river of blood as it's price....this song glorifies not only colonization but all the death and pain and theft that went with it ..
