Understanding Dynamic Nerfing & Game Balance // This goes for all of our videos. You may realize that sometimes the 1 immortal or radiant has more money, shields, etc. Or the enemies have light shields, reduced economy, etc. This is why most of our videos are close matches. They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

the skill gap between an immortal and radiant is mental i would love to see the skill gap between a team of high radiants against a tier 1 team
nah. Based in this vid, Radiants are more dynamic and their gun mechanics is way better. Their crosshair placement is always at the right angle. The immo players always flicking whenevr they want to clear an area while radiant is smooth like butter when clearing and area.
Ranking up I saw the high elo players have very big skill gap even between 1 tier . Like if you play in a gold lobby it looks literally the same as bro ze silver and iron . But then plats are like suddenly better than golds and are on a totally different level ...then diamonds who are also very ahead of plat and even between immortal 1s and ascendant 3s there's a huge difference.
That depends on what radiant. Low radiants are basically immo3. Either way a large skill gap can be seen between low and high radiant. Either way mentality can’t be the only difference.
@@vinnyn1111 well in my comment i did say high radiant but some other skill gaps that there is stuff like scrim play and actual tournament play i play for an esports team and you meet golds and silvers that can play like diamonds it’s crazy
Yeah, the gap is huge. I remember seeing a clip of Tarik showing his match history with 10 straight losses and was still top 50; that's insane. Also crazy how the highest RR peaks of the immos were noticeably better than the others, even with a pretty small gap between them.

Well that's because he finally is actually being strict with the ranks, before he's always been super lenient with ranks, the radant videos often have many immos, or even ascendants.

I think its interesting to see the difference in map control, util usage, and the quality of gunfights. The radiants seemed to have an edge at every one of these aspects. But then again im iron 1 so what do i know lol

the only difference is clearly communication. Immortals are focused on hunting the enemy and very commanding. that's why they lose space, lose position and make stupid mistakes. They thought they are "trading" but they actually just die in vain. but Radiant comms are more focused on how to use their utilities to make a play and the comms are more bargaining. Doesn't care if you top or botfrag as long as you win the game. they don't die without a real trade and they make sure they don't give space so that they can position better. The aim training is also a big factor plus adjusting your crosshair well. also they are having fun because they are confident asf since this immos are just throwing all the way lol thats it. It sounds easy but NO.

People say it's a huge gap, and while it's significant, it's not as massive as many people make it out to be. Going 7-12 against radiants is actually a pretty good result.
I mean considering the radiants weren't really tryharding, like trying to knife, jumping etc., the scoreline looks worse for immos

ngl putting the radiants on one of the most attacker sided maps in the first half definitely does feel slightly unfair for the immortal players... I think it could've been at least slightly closer on a more balanced map.

The aim diff between the Radiants and Immortals are insane
most of thier lost are 1v1 and most of their win are smoked or off angle. idk but mid game the radiant seems to just stop playing serously and was rushing all 5 and peeks. like they even start peeking thru smoke and just rushing and not positioning properly.

This vid made very clear point about how big the gap was between ranks, I'm currently peak ascend 3 and pretty sure if you put 5 ascend vs 5 immo it would make ascend players look like iron 😂

I retain mid immortal ranks whilst playing 3-4 games a week, not got the time to improve is likely what they meant, just stays at the same level it’s hard to improve with little time put in! Im no where near a radiants level they just have a consistency that’s too high for my aging ass 😂
Those immos are lacking in mechanics, they should probably polish their game sense, aim, and etc in dia-asc lobby more before trying to climb up to radiant. Immos played so bad

On lotus, neutral spaces for each of the sites are:
Rubble, root, tree and main for A site
Pillars and main on B site
Lobby and mound for C site
C door is shared between sites B and C

ditto for the longest time i have noticed an audio misbalance in ur videos like ur voice is so low that i have to turn my volume up all hte way but then the game audio and vc are so loud that i have to turn my volume down it could be on my end but i cant seem to fix it if it is on ur end please do something about it also this only seems to happen on ur videos rest other are normal volume
Could u be more specific with the audio misbalance? I record some videos so the audio between videos might be different from each other.
@@sweetamalia well it's like game audio is fine like gun sounds util and agent voice lines but the players voice and dittos voice are either not audible or it's so loud that it hurts my ears also sometimes it's like dittos voice is very less and the players voice is good and it keeps fluctuating in between the video

Just a tip, for people that don’t have much experience with valorant the thumbnail is pretty confusing. If your title says “immortals vs radiants” you should have immortals on the left and radiants on the right for the thumbnail. For the majority of this video I thought the immortals were winning because of that

The biggest different thing between an actual Radiant and an Immortal is the aiming and movement mechanics. All those little details COUNT! That's it.
They are not claiming space, raze could literally go close sherif headshot someone and walk back all the way without even getting peaked crazy might also be a confidence difference
