There were some gems in this episode. The truth is not always nice to hear but it allows one the opportunity to grow 🙏🏾
At first when I read the title, I was not keen of it at all. I was ready to judge. However watching this video brought me insight on black men. Looking at my own experiences, I will admit I had my toxic moments. I did know it was because of not being healed and pain which is a journey I am willing to work on now. Also looking at my previous surroundings, there were beings who were not healthy towards each other and saw that as normality. A man has a right to know who they are getting involved with and they should choose a woman who will uplift and elevate. Vice versa for a woman. This video gave me insight on how I can also be a healthy foundation to a king once I meet him. I have dealt with toxicity but it was from both ends. I realized if we don’t have space to heal and love self, it can cause bonds that are not healthy for us… it is a reflection of self. Have the courage to leave.. have the power to love self and always be with beings who respect you… be optimistic about creating future bonds. We are who we decide to build a bond with. I am grateful for this video and will take in the words for the future

Both parties need to work on themselves to be able to respect each other and work together in solidarity. Too many of the wrong type of men are in other mens' ears. Respect is earned...not given!

People like these men often make the bible sound sexist. SMH "Them folks" made Nat Turner use a certain bible to preach to other slaves to make them believe the whyte man was God and to obey him. Guess that doesn't offend you though. Learn to respect a womans' opinonns and intellgence just as she is expected to respect yours.
