Finally, someone outside of the very small but dedicated fandom acknowledges the existance of one of the greatest animated films to ever exist. I mean really, it’s criminally underrated. Disney barely advertised it (barely any merchandise compared to mediocre films like Frozen, only things I know of are the basics, like toys, a mediocre mobile game and the main two characters at Disney parks) and it is forgotten for the most part, outside of the very dedicated fandom smaller than those of many not very well known indie games. By the way, I love the piano cover, it’s the only one I’ve come across to get all the notes correct. Nice job, you’ve earned yourself a like.

I wouldn't really call it underrated. It was a major box office success and it was nominated for a few Oscars. Then again, I haven't _heard_ of half the movies they nominate...

Why can't we get more animated films like Zootopia, instead of the Emoji movie?
Remember, the most advertised films often turn out the worst.
Zootopia's been neglected (advertising, toys (I only know or two or three toys they ever made), and yet it was amazing, with *98%* and 8/10.
The Emoji Movie was shoved down our throats with toys EVERYWHERE, the commercial on TV every commercial break, and look how it turned out. 2.2/10. 10%.
And yet, Disney hardly cares about it. They'd rather keep promoting Frozen.
Oh well, at least we're getting a Zoo-two-pia.

Emoji Movie was made by Sony, who's main audience, is, usually, that of edgy teens, and Frozen, iirc, was Pixar who usually focus on the Disney Princesses for young girls. Zootopia / Zootropolis was made by Disney (not Pixar) who tend to cater to broader audiences of multiple ages. You also need to look at the demand. Personally, I don't hear many people saying they want an Officer Hops or Nick plushie. When you go shopping, quite often you'll hear little girls whinge about wanting am Elsa doll, because the character has become iconic to Disney Princess fans. If what is said about Zootopia / Zootropolis 2 coming out, I'm so happy as I thoroughly enjoyed the first one 😃😃just hope that, if they do make a new one, they keep the original voice cast. I doubt that they'll change the cast, but I really hope they keep the same voice actors
