I have blackout curtains in my bedroom and it’s the best $$ I’ve ever spent! lol. During the day they’re open so light comes through and at night pitch black. I have the light gray so they match the room.

I think we should try not to use shein when possible bc it really is a horrible company but I think the issue is people who do constant like $100-1000+ shein hauls and just buy a bunch of garbage that ends up in the trash one way or another bc it's so cheap they don't care. if you're just buying some stuff you want and it's what you can afford then it is what it is you know life is difficult and expensive. it's the concept of people buying soooo much stuff bc it's cheap and it's like they're spending hundreds of dollars on garbage they don't use and complain it's bc you don't have the money... come on lol. but you actually wear literally everything you buy it's one of the things I really like about you and has made me be more responsible with my own shopping personally bc sometimes I'm guilty of just buying shit and years later it's sitting in my closet with the tags on lol

For the cold foam do 2:1:1 ratio of heavy cream to half & half & vanilla syrup ! Tastes soooo good. You can sub the vanilla syrup for different flavors too!
That is so much coffee omfg. It’s so strong i usually pour less than a fourth and add water but the sauce looks delicious lol
Sam I’m all here for the pj’s. I did the same thing with lounge wear. I’m not at the pj phase yet, I love my old ones lol. Q?: good paste or gel for fly aways?your hairdo for the party was perfect, nothing sticking out. Suggestion: for clients that get booked by the receptionist would you be able to ask for the clients email a couple days before app so you can contact them directly and ask all your questions? Same with online booking? Or could the receptionist give your email so client contacts you?
I used the Lanza sculpting paste, and that worked really well! So I would suggest that :)

He just hangs out in the apartment. I have a camera, so I can check in on him, but most of the time, he just sleeps on the couch.

I'm the same RE: sleeping in pitch black darkness, & have found a lightweight scarf works better for me than traditional blindfolds (oops I mean 'eye masks' lol) - I can easily adjust it without velcro sticking to my hair, so there are no bumps at the back of my head (I tend to toss & turn at night too, so that always irritated me).
Bonus: the scarf also comes in handy for feeling 'put together' when you wake up (especially if it's cold in your house)!
I like Shein clothes.

Shein shopper as well here. I agree people cannot afford regular clothes and personally I find their stuff to be better quality and better options often than the expensive stuff in stores and I love their stuff. I'm sure what Shein is doing isn't good, but the sustainable solution is to limit buying and overabundance if you can't afford sustainable options. For the majority of people with limited funds that is the only option. I used to be a second hand shopper, but now everything sold second hand is no longer cheap and if you're working all the time you don't have the time to spend sorting through everything trying to find what you're looking for.
Amen… I’m often impressed by the quality of Shein and the stuff at thrift stores lately are basically things like Forever21 clothes with piling that’s warped and no longer in the proper shape (I used to find good quality items but now people buy these and resell them for profit).
Agreed! I try to be smart and careful with my spending, so I don't buy crazy amounts of clothes at a time generally. And when I do buy things, it's always stuff I plan to keep for a long time. I think it becomes problematic when people are constantly buying dozens of items at a time that they're just gonna get rid of in a couple of months.
