So Eurodance as a music genre was most definitely the result of the fall of the Berlin wall 3y earlier. It was a short window in time where producers of all European nations would release the same kind of records instead of one nation exporting the dominant style throughout Europe like it was the case with Italo disco or New beat. The BPM gap with the '80s EDM couldn't have been more stark. Discotheques and nightclubs were cruising at speeds of +140BPM. This track was released at the apex of the eurodance BPM uptempo. Similar uptempo can be found in Magic Affair - Omen 3 or Captain Jack.
