@@dawae3080 something like that is usually too significant to ignore, back when the M2K Snake Lead on the Hud was fixed to head movement and not for the HUD, that was then patched, I doubt the F-16C HMD would stay in that state for too long.

Well they arent supposed to miss their targets just by flying low. Its a cheese move and takes away from the full potential of the game. The devs have specially said they do this on purpose. Its due to the amount of people on such small maps. I would welcome proper missile models like in DCS. If you try and fly low in DCS it will just give you less time to fall after you're dead. Going cold and learning to defend properly really needs to be implemented soon. Hopefully before 120s are added

I love DCS, however there are more people playing war thunder than DCS, so I want to tap into an audience rich environment, with trying to provide a unique formula to an already relative niche game. (Which is VR of course)
If your aircraft has IFF (Identification friend or foe) it means it can decipher between friendlies and enemies on your radar. However, this is the juicy part, quite a few aircraft do not have this, but these are mostly GEN 2 and below, some GEN 3? just means you have to use intuition, a lot of inexperienced players will get friendlies killed, because they are impatient, or just hope it’s an enemy and disregard trying to figure it out.

It is a setting, under AirCraft Controls: 'Switch MFD 1 Mode' there are 2 more labelled '2 Mode' and '3 Mode' make sure to have all 3 binded. that way in the future you can change Multiple MFDs in the same cockpit.
Great video as always, I have a question regarding the zoom function. Im thinking bout getting into sim battles and buying a VR set, specifically Oculus Quest 2. My concern is that with not so great resolution i wont be really able to tell apart the silhuettes. I have seen somewhere they added zoom to VR in 2020 but im not really sure.
I am pretty sure you should not have too much of a problem, the Quest 2 has even better resolution than my Gen 2 index, however I am pretty sure the FOV is even narrower than the Rift S which already was kind of an Issue in the first place, if you have certain Post FX settings and HQ FXAA, it will look essentially at its best. War Thunder with VR and Hotas isn't Plug and Play, you will need to tweak things that will suit you.
Yes it is, I keep it on though to make sure I do not kill a friendly, however, now that you mention it, I could have a wingman who could confirm and tally my kills, thus not needing to use it + Immersion too. Interesting.

You can change the default language of troops in the tank that may change the languge of air notifications thought , not quite sure
some of jets do need have HSI system for F-16C, MiG-29SMT, and F-14s
